Director, Program Planning & Strategy

Playboy Entertainment Group (PEGI), the entertainment division of Playboy, is seeking a skilled manager to join our TV programming team. This individual will work with the V.P., Worldwide Programming to continually develop and execute program and promotion strategies across multiple networks. Strong analytical abilities, supervisory skills, and significant experience with scheduling and traffic database systems are essential. This position is located in Los Angeles, California.


Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement on air strategies to drive network distribution and viewer satisfaction.
-Oversee program and promotion scheduling staff to ensure proper execution of on-air strategy.
-Partner with On-Air Promotions to seek out and identify promotional opportunities.
-Collaborate with Playboy Program Production, Program Acquisitions and On-Air Promotions personnel to establish and maintain delivery timetables.
-Collaborate with consumer and affiliate sales marketing divisions to create on-air strategies that increase distribution.


Experience:

* 5+ years experience in television programming, scheduling and/or traffic.
* Strong knowledge of scheduling and trafficking database systems.
* Demonstrable ability to provide insight into programming opportunities and track record in execution of them.
* Knowledge of the television development and production processes.
* Prior program scheduling and/or departmental supervisory experience.
* Must have creative bent, with strong communication and writing skills.

Why back in Nam I coordinated bombing runs, actually I invented bombing runs. None the less it was alot of coordination of things that happened in the air but I tell ya it got results!
5 Years Broadcasting? No Problem! I been doing it for 8 years on a more visible platform that has sustained continual growth since 1995. I have increased massive distribution since developing a keen ability to brand anything from toilet paper to twizzlers!

Believe it or not some of us do have broadcast experience .. 15 years for myself ... I've done program Director and creative Director for hustler TV and Red Light District Television in Canada.. Just left them about 3 months ago ... You never know who might be lurking these boards
