Dirt cheap arcades!
 

I've found a guy who's selling like 120 arcade cabinets from arcades that went out of business (complete with 20" tubes, etc) with boards for $60 each!
I'm getting a cabinet and boards of: wonder boy 2, double dragon, bubble bobble, street fighter II and maybe some other games, any recommendations of other forgotten classics?

is he selling them to just anyone?
Will he ship them?

Yup anyone, they want to get rid of them asap, but i don't think you would like to pay shipping of a cabinet from argentina :1orglaugh

Sega made a stand up Star Trek game that was pretty cool...

You guys should head over to http://www.classicgaming.com , download the "MAME" arcade emulator, then go to their game vault and download THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of classic games. I'm still amazed about that place. The only thing is that they use File Planet, so you should either get up early in the morning to download or pay the $5 for the premium account, so you can download stuff without waiting.

I've been looking for that.

I'd like to fit a new TV/monitor into the display. It's only 320x200 resolution I think, so you dont need much for dot pitch - but I'd bet those old displays have the image burned right into them by now.

Understand that these are classic games and not for everyone. If you don't qualify just go find some crappy online game and play with them. Do't be put out, SOMEDAY you may be someone, just not today.

Just because you think you're someone doesn't mean youll get a game - you have to ENHANCE the presence of the other elite gamers to qualify to get a game.
