Healthy solution for a late night sweet tooth

Don't laugh too hard.. Option 1: Clementines, Option 2: Ruby Red Grapefruit with Splenda.

are you on a healthfood kick? i wish i could be as disciplined - im having hot chocolate now - fruit (unless chocolate covered) just wont cut it for me - great seeing you in LA by the way! :)

xNetworx 12-05-2005 09:04 PM

Cottage cheese or a low carb protien shake with non fat milk.

Peaches 12-05-2005 09:15 PM

Arizona diet green tea :) It's sweetened with Splenda but has a splash of honey in it to take the "diet tasting" edge off :) If you drink it with crushed ice you can chew on the ice and feel like you're eating something too ;)

Then again, I had a filling fall out yesterday when I was doing that so if you have a lot of fillings, don't do the ice chewing!

baddog 12-05-2005 09:16 PM

dried cranberries are my usual treat . . . this week it is Alaskan King Crab legs, until I run out.

BIGTYMER 12-05-2005 09:59 PM

Splenda? Yuuuckkk...

That sounds great!

First, I'll need you to put on a super hot bikini.

Second, You should pour the Sundae and hot fudge all over yourself.

Then position yourself in such a way that my tongue can get to every part of you!!!

buddyjuf 12-05-2005 10:37 PM

clementines... helsssssssssssssss yeah!

BradM 12-05-2005 10:38 PM

for overall health and weight control this is best.

limit sweets, even splenda, because they induce hunger cravings.

last snack of the day (only if you are hungry) suggestions:

small bowl of shredded wheat (plain, not sugar frosted) eaten with skim milk.
or one whole red grapefruit, or 1 oz of hard cheese and 2 rykrisp, or 1 navel orange, or 1 apple, or 1 bowl of oatmeal (no sugar) with walnuts.

controlling your weight and nutrition is a conscious decision, but the benefits are large. make every calorie count.

Oh hell yeah, I forgot about the frozen grapes! Those work for little kids too! Sort of a Jedi mind trick with the kiddies.

Mandarin orange slices with frozen blueberries is great and sweet.

But last night it was Edy's "ice cream sandwich" flavor for me, haha.

Just add Hershey's syrup. It's not that bad for you.

Abithefiend 12-06-2005 08:15 AM

Everytime I want chocolate but don't wanna eat the stuff for various reasons I usual have the 'options choc drink'; only 40 calories a cup and all the chocolate taste...very yum!

Dcat 12-06-2005 09:35 AM

I control my ice cream cravings by taking some mixed berries and adding a little yogurt on top. Always does the trick.

MandyBlake 12-06-2005 10:16 AM

try trident gum. its better for your teeth. :)
