Yep, they load pretty slow.

create a new html page purely for the ads, then use an iframe to include them on your main page.

They'll still be as slow loading but atleast it will allow the other parts of your site to load at normal speed.

That is a good idea. I'll start working on that now.

I haven't noticed slowness in loading, but I don't see great conversions with AFF. Maybe I have to give AFF some more time, but so far it has been underwhelming. CAMS.com seems to do much better.

Yea. I have noticed slow loading on occasion only.

What browser are you using?

Pulled all AFF ads down until they fix the problem. My traffic is back up 30-40 percent.

We are looking into this right now ! We have a whole new set of Geo ads coming out in the next week, and once again have ordered more boxes to keep up with the demand.

they load off of the cams.com server farm and are under less load.

Where do I find those GEO ads? Under my AFF account or StreamRay account?

I've had this issue with multiple Geo Targeted programs, not just AFF. I guess it's the price you pay to have a geo targeted ad from time to time. :2 cents:

yeah, that page took roughly 48 secs to load.. on 8mb cable.

The entire AFF website is VERY slow and has been for a while, I dont know if the servers are overloaded or what but it's gotten very bad.

Yes you can find them in the Adult Friend Finder area under banner ads.

it is the one that simply says Geo Target banners the first of the 3 options.


I have escalated this to the highest priority today. I have a full team working on the issue.

Hey guys sorry I haven't responded sooner. Been busy talking to programmers. Like Lars says the geo-targeted banner speeds are top issue today. In the meantime here is the URL for the Streamray banners.

Just add your affiliate number to the end. Change the 'p' to a 'g' at the end of the URL if you are using your global account.

Getting "RED X" on the pics and still loading slow. The page loads fast half the time I load it on a new window.

Always use iframe versions of geoads not javascript..
Using iframe versions do not slow your sites :thumbsup

I like using the custom image option inconjuction with the GEO ad java script.

I have a dedicated Geo Ad server with them so no, they load fast as fuck

Also we added an option, Photo Type. You can use this to select member images or models.

So, is this a quick fix or a has the problem been pointed, anaylized and permanently fixed?

The GEO ads are coming up faster. So are the GEO ad results.

They have to be working on that all the time... I think the most important thing is that the Geo-Targeted ads will make you mad cash and conversions over the old style! Of course, that's all null if they're not loading. LOL

GEO ads have been slow for the last couple of days. Check your sites for load time.

I have to remove them until they come up to speed again.
