I did not mess with the footer, the footer messed it self up,

I als noticed that the footer wasn't at the bottom of the page anymore (which annoyed me because it split my content in two parts) , I do not know what might have caused this error to occure , I certainely didn't do it myself (html newbie)

host with us... we never delete accounts for nothing...

Why do you have to spam if someone is having some problems with a host?
Sounds lame to me.

How can you modify the footer? I mean, you can push it down, you can hide it with a layer.. but how can you actually modify the code of the footer, since the freehost automatically adds it?

A month ago I had this problem with another freehost that appears to use many of the same scripts as coolness. See my thread on it <a href="http://board.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51917">here</a>. The short version is, the freehost couldn't figure out how to insert its banners properly. They deleted my account without notice, accused me of hiding the footers when I inquired, and then later apologized because they had a bug in their script that was messing up their own headers and footers. Then they fixed it, I didn't need to change anything about my pages.

I also used Coolness. Briefly. Their headers and footers weren't reliably displaying on my pages, so I ditched em before they could nuke my account. I worry that a freehost that can't get its own banners to display reliably might be making its money elsewhere, to my detriment.

I'm amazed that anyone running a freehost would be so clueless about .html that they would nuke an account without even bothering to LOOK at the source to see whether somebody put something in there that was causing the problem. Yet that's what mine did to me, and it sounds like that's what Coolness did to Tedster. That's not businesslike -- it's LAME.

Right now I'm very happy with both xfreehost and smutserver. :thumbsup :thumbsup
