Amp's Got Me Thinking
 

You know Amp may come across like an ass sometimes...but hey maybe that's why we all love him:Graucho

But one of his post a few months back really got me to thinking.

I work hard at this biz but I had a lack of focus...I was too spread out trying a bit of this and trying a bit of that before even attempting to master just one small aspect of it.

Anyway I got together with a few other wm's and with their help a bit of critiquing we each did on each other's work I finally started to benefit from those long hard hours I've been putting into this biz....but then guess what?

I get fucked...my host didn't know what the hell they were doing and because I lost confidence and felt the need to maybe look elsewhere to protect my financial future...they lock me out of my domains.

But I will survive...I have suffered 2 full days with 0 sales...today with only 2...couldn't believe I got those with all my domains being switched over.

Anyway my point is regarding one of Amp's posts...he asked where we hoped to be at some point in the future.

My hope is to eventually get to a place where less and less people can determine my financial success or failure based on either their incompetence or the simple fact that they are an asshole.

That's it....I don't expect total control over life as that is impossible..however I wish for having more control over it than outside influences.
