My first foto shoot!
 

I have decided to do my first shoot in my hotel room at Cybernetexpo in Montreal. I figure that I will be able to buy a digital camera and get my license by then. Does anybody know if a US license is good for shooting content in Canada?

I got on AIM and found some girls who are willing to pose for me for a 50% split of the picture sales. I think some of them are hookers too!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I am very excited about this and with all the great help I got on GFY last night I figure it will be easy to sell this stuff.

I found a release form for a picture contest in a porn mag and I photocopied that so now I am ready to go!

Thanks again for all your help GFY'ers. If you have any more advice I would love to soak up all the knowledge you are willing to share.

Your in luck, with the exchange rate and stuff your US license should let you shoot with like 2 cameras in Canada.

You should really make money shooting there cause you can do it in half the time.

Now ADIDAS I am not sure why you would steer my that direction. Everybody knows that a 4 or 5 megapixel camera is pretty much required for content providers these days. Perhaps you are afraid of a little competition?

That is cool man. I do not want to be as big a company as Aaron. The poor guy can not even take a vacation without everybody asking where he is. Whenn he get's back I may ask him for some pointers. If nothing else, he seems to have a few friends here and knows how to market himself. I could use some pointers for that.

I heard that and that I do not need pemission to shoot that stuff if it is in public or if sombody leaves their curtains open and stuff. I am thinking about setting camera up to point and the apartments across the alley from me. The women are not very pretty but what the hell?

Can't sell no. Hell here in California you'll go to jail! But staged voyeur! You'll sell the hell out of it IMHO! People are asking all over for like cam pics and such! Etc.

He is in WA. It would pertain to him if he shoots pornography in the US. I am not sure on Canadian law, I would ask a lawyer.

Title 18 USC 2257 doesnt pertain to what you shoot. You can photograph without a model release or ID.

Its if you host the pics on a server in the US that it comes into play.

Well, I have ID and I got that copy of the release but I am considering a free host in south america. So I should be safe then right?

yeah, no problem, they have no laws there, if you can get a free host in Cuba, it is even better, especially if you shoot some smoker content with those long Havanas

I think AIM is what you do with the camera before pushing the red button. At least that is what it said on the back of the Fuji disposable camera I use..:1orglaugh
