mail wasnt even going out earlier for us.

My email with them always fucks up too. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it rejects seemingly simple emails from people trying to contact me.

Maybe someone spilled a starbucks in your box?

I haven't been getting my emails at all through them lately!

my email has been fucked up with them for the past week. i am becoming frustrated with this shit. im on support everyday and no changes fix this.

For the last few days most of my pages there are hitting 404 or Index of/ every few clicks (clicking Go or Refresh a time or 2 usually brings the pages up). Right now the site I am trying to work on there is hitting nothing but 404 and Index of/, alternating :(

You guys should hit up Mike (ICQ# 20458616) , im sure he'll help you with whatever your server issue is.

ill bet you 50 bucks your email is fucking up if you are using webair for email services on your dedicateds.

Everything has been kick ass with my boxes..

i have had dedicated with webair for over 4 years.

and my mail has been very fucked up.

been that way for a long time and although i ove the hosting, seriously - wtf is up with mail?

ive moved my fletchxxx.com domain becaue i use fletch @ fletchxxx dot com as my main contact and TOO many important business associates have told me i am not getting their email, so i moved it - dedicated or not.

been dedicated with them for more years than most people been on this forum. i was hosting with them before i even posted once on GFY.

and ive missed a lot of mail.

i'm in the same boat as you Fletch. hosting is fine, but email is fucked.

i was told they have Anti-Spam filtering setup that can build a queue when they are working on the server or configureation, so no emails are lost.. my question is, why the fuck is this being toyed with during the day without a maintenance window scheduled?

yeah try asking them to do something tho.. Like set up a new server or an upgrade.. Then prepare to wait several weeks.

My email has been working fine all weekend and my server has been fast as usual, are you on dedicated ro virtual host?

anytime I have asked for anything from webair they have had it done for me within an hour.

im dedicated.. its not just me either.. or people are noticing the problem and their techs acknowledge it

i havent had one problem at all ...even during their maintenence

Only prob I had with them was tech support was very slow for the 1st 2 weeks I was with them...


So far everything has been awesome. Techs get to my tickets within 45 min. I am on a dedicated server with no mail problems either.

Not sure what bandwidth they use, but it makes a huge differance for the speed of your website.

We use two providers with NO verio or cogent, so if one slows down the others routs the traffic reliable top speeds.

You might want to ask what your host uses if speed is a issue. We spend 10 thousand a month to be able offer this speed to our DWHS customers.

Is webair still blocked on all the anti spam places? Maybe that could be the problem?....Just a thought. :2 cents:

Webair have a problem with their email, I have been emailing billing for 4 days now but they all bounce back.

BTW they are aware they have a problem, they just don't have a fix.

I have not noticed any problems with webair so far!!

All of my stuff + my client's sites are up and running. Looking good. Things are nice and fast.

on any of my servers i never run any mail, i just use godaddy for mail services, makes life easier. i just run all other services on my dedicated boxes, but i have noticed godaddy has blocked some ips too.

Good to hear that. The hosting is good the problem is with email.

Great if you can use your email elsewhere, no good if you use your domain for your email.

Mike knows about the email issue, they are working on a soloution.

It's been quite sometime now, you would think as much as he spams his hosting services, he would have made a comment about this already :2 cents:

Their SQL servers bog from time to time, but that's about it. A great service otherwise!

hey guys if you are having a mail issue please contact me..we will figure out the specific reason and get you straightened out ASAP...theres alwasy a fix hit me up and lets see what the problem is...

Mike, not bashing Webair here but Brian was unable to sort my issue out. I think there is a general issue with your mail servers being overwhelmed and loosing mail.

Brian said he was looking for a fix but it may be some weeks away.

Webair hosting is good and all other services work ok for me (apart from the insecure item warning in the control panel :) )
