Setting up domain with dedicated box?
I've purchased new server with ZipServers and I'm trying to set it up now. I started WHM and pass through that wizard, but i got certain problems with setting up domain name.
I already have domain registered with GoDaddy (which I personally don't like much). I set up ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com on two separate IP's and Name Server service is working. What should I do with GoDaddy to make this domain point to server's IP? Everytime I type IP's for ns1. and n2. as domain name servers, GoDaddy returns this message: Field Validation Error Please correct the following issue(s): # Nameserver 1 has an invalid TLD. # Nameserver 2 has an invalid TLD. What should I do, so I can get my WHM on www.thatdomain.com/whm ? Thanks in advance! ;) nettrust |
Did you register your name servers with your registrar too?

You have to put some water on the plant in the kitchen window. then everything will work fine.

on netfirms account, i solved this problem by forwarding ns1.domain.com to certain IP address (domain settings) and then entering this ns1.domain.com as nameserver... ;) |
