Web1000Traffic --> Sucks ass, I want some fucking answers!
I just bought 25,000 hits of your 404 traffic and it is 98% being generated from dead images!
You are NOT sending me 25,000 surfers! You are sending me image sourced crap! I just paid money to image source my fucking site! This is fucking rediculous! If I wanted to image source my website I would just talk shit about a 1 million hits a day website owner and I am sure they would do it for laughs! Refund me my fucking money! |
And check THIS shit out!
http://www.hdmaster2.theblog.com.br/Vivian.htm This fucking site just sent me 10 people [wink] [wink] From the dead images! So I go there and type in a bogus url: http://www.hdmaster2.theblog.com.br/Vivian.htmll And instead of being redirected to one of your customers like I should be, I get this: Not Found The requested URL /Vivian.htmll was not found on this server. WTF? |
Not to mention almost every surfer is from Indonesia or Brazil or some other country that doesn't speak english!
All of your websites are from non english speaking countries... or at least the ones sending me traffic... I can't believe you guys are fucking doing this... |
I think you just owned his ass :1orglaugh
|
So I take it foreign traffic from free hosted foreign blogs is no good?
|
who runs that site?
|
I was looking up the dictionary for the word 0wn3d and it had a link to this thread! :Oh crap
Anyway, thanx for the heads up... hope you get your money back. Steve |

It might not be so bad if it wasn't coming from unlinked images... Now if it were coming from real surfers getting 404'd I'd do a traffic analysis and then possibly buy it with corresponding sponsors on the page. |
I Just want it to be clear that our parent company owed web1000 at one time but we no longer do .... it was sold about 4-5 months ago and has nothing to do with us ... It's not even on the system we built ... I get little to no response from the new owners and have been fighting to get old traffic orders filled since they took over .. good luck with your efforts with them.
|
their traffic worked fine for what i used it for
this was 6 months or so ago & mobbucks owned |
this sucks :(

Good to know you are NOT part of this! |
Shit, and I had web1000 on my to-do list and was going to be buying traffic from them.
I guess they go back on my blacklist (where they were up until a few years ago) |

I hope they clear this up for you.
|
I should've bought when it was mobbucks owned.
That's what I get for waiting. |

William Mobley who now has Web1000 is sporatic at best when it comes to answering emails or delivering. I am almost finished riding their ass and once this final person is taken care of, web1000 will be deleted from my network. |

I also know I'll never even consider using Web1000 again, though.. |
Damn sux bro, maybe you should hit this thread to get some real traffic... :thumbsup

Unlinked image fuckers...
|
Sucks man hope that you get your money back
|
When we hosted Web1000.com and mike and crew had control of the system you got good quality traffic (as quality as 404's could be) from them.
I hope the new owners live up to the previous deals that they are bound by. |
Glad you posted this V_RocKs, I was going to buy traffic from them.
|
That's bad, thanks for the heads up.
|
bump for you
|

Anyway I had a similar prob with a well known traffic broker a while back. It is relatively easy to filter out image traffic, you may lose some "non image" clicks in the process but I think that's far better than img srcing your clients. I've had a friend experience the same problem with another broker as well. It's not an uncommon problem, but it's one that SERIOUSLY pulls down the quality (and value) of the traffic. |
How much did they charge for the 25k?

One way I can think of filtering out img src traffic (untested)
embed javascr.ipt as a jpeg comment which redirects to the passthru URL (using document.location) - If it's a page load it displays junk for a moment (the jpeg data as ASCII), then the js kicks in and it redirects. - If it's an img src, the image shows. |
The only thing i know is that on Nov. 4th a guy name NightWolfe camo to AWW and posted this
" Just wanted to drop a line and say whats up to everyone here ... I'm a representative of www.Web1000.com (No Ads Free Hosting Adult Content OK) and www.Web1000Traffic.com where we have tons of traffic for sale ... if anyone needs any free hosting or anything drop me a line ... Don't want to get counted as a spammer so if anyone needs any site help or marketing assistance I'll try my best to help out ... Looking forward to getting to know the comunity .. Thanks! NightWolfe " But no further Posts from him except in that thread also no further contact info |

I warned them not to fuck around in adult because word spreads and people will blacklist you... take care of your adult customers. ... I guess they didn't listen ... :disgust |
If you guys only knew the half of the Web1000.com drama, but i guess it will all come out soon.
|
bump in the hope of further drama

believe me ..I hope it just dies ... I'm done with them ... :disgust |
I got an email from them stating they don't image source... Then what the fuck is all the shit I posted earlier in this thread about?
I showed where they were image sourcing on several pages... The fact that they would use testimonials from a prior owner is crazy... especially Juicy's... I don't like seeing Juicy's name used on a shitty company. Someone asked about the cost... It was $49.95 for 25,000. Additionally their network is slow as fuck.... Click on a link at the bottom of www.976porn.com and you go to chokers traffic very fast... instantly you are on the target page... do the same thing here and it takes about 2 to 4 seconds... all the while the page is flickering as you are sent to the next link in the chain and if you look at the bottom you can see yourself getting redirected... as a surfer, I usually close those pages since it usually means I am getting spyware, dialers and other crap installed. |
