Well, AdBrite allows adult ads - more or less the same thing as AdSense

because google's founders declared that they would not be an 'evil' company.

It would require some rather elaborate software.

If we did it, it would be as close to ad sense as possible without violating any copyrights

well i dont think a simple script code placed in ad zones on a site, rotating pre-purchased content-based text ads would really be breaking any ?. Im not saying rip the exact idea.

but basically, affiliates use a piece of code that would rotatre pre-chosen size or style links and have them rotate not only based on content but geo-ip wise as well.

this is simple to do.

youd think someone would have done it by now.

these companies can buy hookers and throw parties fo people who dont even send traffic, but no one can bank on an idea like this?

this is out of the hands of people like me, but these big companies have to see the potential.

we have a domain parking feed coming - the main reason not a lot of google adsense style adult options are available is fraud btw.

if google can handle it, these millionaires who wipe their ass with 100s surely can defeat the fraud. they can pay 1000$ sign ups every third frieday but are scared of click fraud?

i understand it will take some money to do, which is why i said this is out of reach for guys like me. But im no dreamer and this is more than possible.

i mean, companies should have javascript style ad zone codes to rotate links for their sites for people, yet none really do.

if companies are hurting for ideas, they should come to me because this shit just seems to damn easy yet its so far out of reach?

companies like mediaplaza give affiliates codes and scipts to build sites, yet adul;t sites struggle to deliver banners and FPAs.

not to mention these "adult personals" adult sites, can barely fucking deliver a geo-ip script that gets my "california" correctly.

the personal profile delivery is a perfect example. these adult companies are delivering slow-as-fuck ads, which should be fast and the best considering the money we make... but thats not the case.

hmm overture did something too i think... all I remember is that is was so stuffed full of shit traffic/fraud that they never worked because people weren't preaptred to pay per click cuz of shite quality. I think overture stopped letting adult companies post on their sites... i dunno I could be way off...but thats my :2 cents:

theres no doubt in my mind this would be something that would have to be done by the big boys considering that type of fraud attraction as well as the traffic many could send.

I am only encouraging others to get it rolling.

Some of us do very good with ad sense on mainstream and man h man, if they could get the right thing done for adult that would sort of mimick the delivery of content based ads (forget geo ip for now) it would be so great.

i know this would be headaches, but it has to be more than possible. I mean guys like choker are making a lot of money selling links. I think with the right mind and/or company behind this - it would be great.

If they ever existed, the days when adult was cutting edge have long gone. Now online porn has been around in a big way for almost a decade, we are seeing just how few people have original ideas or even the ability to implement existing ideas well.

Maybe it is because tons of companies here used to do pay per click and adult is awesome at scamming the fuck out of them. Your advertisers would need to convert Chinese traffic and every TGP would want to be paid for that crap.

Also adsense was opened to adult recently. maybe it was a test but I saw it.

Adbrite is nothing like Adsense. They don't show contextual ads, they let you sell ads one at a time through their system or they display generic network wide ads.

Adult has been really slow on the new shit on the net lately. There are a few big things in the works though and will come to light soon. :)
