However i thought at first maybe he was Italian and he name might be something like Salvatore Sicone.

Are there any others that are often mispronounced or misinterpreted?

I knew a guy once who called himself "Pedo" on Yahoo.

yeah, I think I need have my name fixed. When I signed up I didnt know you could have spaces, didnt want to use underscores and didnt even think about making the O a capital letter.
