Is it squirrel mating season or something?

I keep hearing something on my roof. First thought it was the gardener, but he was across the street. Thought it might be pine cones dropping from one tree, but there is no wind.

Go outside to investigate and discover two squirrels playing tag or something jumping from my trees, to my roof and back again.

I swear, for living away from the country I sure have a lot of varmints (squirrels, possums, raccoons). Sounds like fixings for a good stew.

The squirrels have been pretty active here at my house too lately. There are about 5 or 6 of them that play for the better part of the day - running back and forth along the top of my screen enclosure over the pool. Actually kind of fun to watch to be honest.

It might be more entertaining if I wasn't concerned with them running down my chimney.

There is a global squirrel takeover about to happen. They found out your nick is baddog and they are planning their attack. Have you read the news?

Ahhh, that sucks. We just had our first fire of the year and found out the HARD way that we had a big bees nest in the chimney. You could see the smoke billowing out of the top, and bees swarming. Now we have half dead bees finding their way into the house... :disgust

Pest control can't get out here until Monday

Now that would suck. I regularly roast baby birds in mine, but bees would be a drag.
