They become escorts.

The strip at cheesy dives or marry a patron...

They move on to other things. My one g/f works for the postal office. I have one that is a teacher for the blind. I myself am still in the adult industry..but turning 40 next year and have put in 22 years..I am going to retire and do real estate.

I was a stripper for 17 years...if you dont let the lifestyle, alcohol, or the morons consume you.. then you can do ok in the biz and come out of it without being a total loser.

Most of them have a list of Suger Daddys that they have collected over the years and if you think that most strippers just make their money at the club then you don't really know the whole story. :pimp

The minority, the smart and good looking ones, usually have a set plan and time frame to get in, make the most they can for college, buying a house, starting a business or whatever they have choosen.

it really depends on the girl. If she is coming home way after hours with really large chunks of money that she doesnt normally make in the clubs.. yes, there is a damn good possiblity she could be hooking on the side.

Hooking , fucking around and being slutty is not limited to just strippers fellows..I find this behavior pretty rampant with alot of young girls these days that have never stepped foot in a strip club.

I agree! I was shocked when I was told about an acquaintance who evidently sold herself for $100. This girl was hot and had a "live in" boyfriend. She met the "john" on a telephone chat line where they set up the transaction. She did this while her boyfriend was at work.

what strippers do when they are too old...

1:they often keep stripping, being turned down by the better clubs, they go to a club that is not as high in caliber... this cycle repeats until they cant get ANY club to hire them.

2:becomes a barmaid or a shooter girl

3:finds some lonely loser to support her, albiet not very well

4:begins to hook

5:starts to sell dancer outfits to other strippers... going from club to club selling thier wares

6:becomes a "house mom"

7:if she isnt too much of a druggie or loser, she tries to get a mediocre job, and quickly realizes that stripping was much easier

8:elite strippers who have a good head on thier shoulders sometimes will do a stint in porno so that they can continue to market themselves in the stripclubs as a "feature" even though they are pretty much washed up

9:in very very very rare cases they may end up being a succesful porn actress or make thier way to the w.w.e. (felicia fox worked at the club next to mine, she would often come into our club)

10:eventually, if they are unable to become a success in some other related field, they often remove themselves from the circles they were in due to the fact that thay are unable to deal with the fact they are no longer the hot commodity that they once were.

lol, 5 years of working in stripclubs... i pretty much became the best dj in my city ( as far as stripclub djs' go)... its how i became known as Mikey Fingaz a.k.a. tonguezilla, lol.

Watched a special on HBO one time about a stripper. She got fired from one place because she turned 40. She was too old, and had put on some weight. You could tell that 10 or 15 years before, she was HOT.

I heard that sometimes old strippers go on to become fraud control analysts for really big affiliate programs, then they sit around lurking but never posting on GFY while deciding which of you webmasters are and are not going to get your checks.

There are lots and lots of them that do. When I lived in Vegas almost every stripper I knew was dancing her way through college.

I wanted to come back and make note..that some of what you say is so true... but to generalize all like that is silly. I worked the clubs all over the usa from 18-35. In the process, I sold real estate, did some school , became an Aveda skin care specialist..worked in salons, bartended, and became a webmaster...now i am going to school to sell real estate and in three years..become a broker.

I would say a small percentage ends up like the description you posted first.. but not the majority.

There is a time when one has to realize they are too old to be getting naked on a stage in front of guys who will not be sympathetic ...lol.
I had two realizations..when I became old enough to be the young girls mom, and the other was dancing in a non alcohol club and guys that are as old as my son were perving on me.. I just wanted to take their wallet, put them over my knee and spank that ass.
