Looks like Blogs are going to be a big trend in 06

they were hot in 05 but I bet everyone will have one in 06 like a TGP.

we just added a blog to our TGP XXXpushers and a few others that will soon be live..

they are great SearchEngineFood

shermo 12-01-2005 08:32 PM

I've got a few in my back pocket that are doing pretty well. As more people learn that blogs are hot, there will be a saturation point and the blogs that were here first, will reign supreme!

What are these "blog" things you are talking about? Is a blog something real or did you just make up that word? There is no way something called a blog will make it on the web. Excuse me . . . I just ate a tub of butter and now I feel like going to take a big giant blog.

Fletch XXX 12-01-2005 08:40 PM

they were hot in 2003 - you guys just caught on way late.

i designed my tours for blogs and was the first on GFY to offer blog promo specifically after having worked with blogs and blog owners.

:)

I was hip to them a while ago I never thought they would be this popular though.. But thats because I'm a visual person and hate to read alot.

but the search engines love em so its a great way to get ranked higher the only reason they are doing well :2 cents:

spacedog 12-01-2005 08:45 PM

it's all new to me. I've been offline from april 2002 to sept 2005 & see blogs & was like "Huh", but caught the bug & now I took a domain that was a fake tgp & changed it to a blog, & the one in my sig was my first blog, I think I'll make all my sites into blogs, makes for easy maintaining & updating

hosted blog material will be its downfall.

that will be when dialectics will come into play and Hegel will be proven right yet again.

as soon as you start seeing hosted blog material, that cycle of change will begin and the blog trend will be at its peak. although it will remain plentiful for many - hosted blog materials will slowly begin the change to something new.

this is all based on dialectics and Hegel.

fetishblog 12-01-2005 09:05 PM

Blog blog blog. I've been doing mainstream, non-adult, blogs for damn near 7 years. And you're just now saying they are gonna be hot? Hahaha. Funny.

Tat2Jr 12-01-2005 09:41 PM

There's nothing to see here folks. Blogs suck. They don't convert, and they don't get SE traffic, now move along! ;)

when did they become hot? I'm talking about critical mass in adult many things have started years ago doesnt mean they are Hot. like mainstream did anything first online LOL

Our http://www.goldplayersclub.com/members/ is new I think its hot but the mass doesnt yet they need to be educated on it first and it takes time. rarely does something just blow up over nite

Fletch XXX 12-01-2005 09:48 PM

cheers all (posted in wrong thread)

Every time you launch a blog you should do a press release about it at www.PRadult.com - great link building tool.

We also have several directories you can submit them too, no recip required (and still free)

http://www.okaysites.com/
http://www.baddogsites.com
http://www.goodgirlsites.com
http://www.directoryworthy.com
http://www.hotblogsites.com (blogs only)
http://www.hotsites411.com/

with the description, be sure to make them rich with keywords that you want the SE to associate with you

Bluewire Ross 12-01-2005 09:51 PM

Blogs have too many uses to die because of hosted material. One set of blogs might be like tgps, and the next full of great text and linkage.

Fletch XXX 12-02-2005 08:52 PM

i did not say "die"

if you guys do not understand the cycles and cyclical patterns of change, i suggest reading up on Dialectics and Marx and Hegel.

Fletch XXX 12-02-2005 08:56 PM

i study change and patterns, and Dialectics has been a hobby of mine for years now

http://home.igc.org/~venceremos/whatheck.htm

What the Heck is Dialectics?

Dialectics is a tool to understand the way things are and the way things change. Understanding dialectics is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3.

One--Every thing (every object and every process) is made of opposing forces/opposing sides.

Two--Gradual changes lead to turning points, where one opposite overcomes the other.

Three--Change moves in spirals, not circles.

These are the three laws of dialectics according to Frederick Engels, a revolutionary thinker and partner of Karl Marx, writing in the 1870s in his book Dialectics of Nature. Engels believed that dialectics was "A very simple process which is taking place everywhere and every day, which any child can understand".

hehehe L Ron Hegel.

coming up on my 7 months totally sober, so "change" has been a big factor in my life the past 6 months.

Dialectics is a great way of looking at the entire world and i use it every day.

Right I understand. What I'm saying is porn blogs have no effect on blogs as a whole. Even if mainstream had it the difference would be none. Blogs evolve by nature and have 100000000 uses, doesn't make any one right or wrong and the next doesnt' make the first slow down.

Anyhow, I'll give you links a read one day. :upsidedow

and i was ONLY referring to porn blogs, considering thats what this thread is about. I dont think it takea genius to realize how everyone using the same hosted blog material would surely create a change.

mikesinner 12-02-2005 09:08 PM

I think blogs are all about origional text. If you write your own text you will always have good traffic

You can get quite a pile of traffic with unoriginal text too. No way I'm saying how but I've experimented with this several different ways.

detoxed 12-02-2005 11:13 PM

dont need a magic 8ball to see that :)

JD 12-02-2005 11:26 PM

people think that if they put up a blog the money comes in by the wheel barrel. That's why there's so many fucking blogs out there. I've got like 10 of my own blogs but they're not the cheap TGP wanna be blogs.

by 07 most blog traffic will = tgp traffic. People will start skimming and DL'ing spyware to surfers etc etc

I disagree. Pretty sure blogs and some aspects of blogs used on regular sites will change this industry 100%.
