I'm going to the dominican republic instead. Nothing against avn but NO WAY am I ever going to vegas again at CES time while in this business. I can't stand those crowds - one hour line ups for cabs - all shows booked - all good restruants booked - prices on everything trippled.

I got one week in the dominican at a 4 star all inclusive resort catering to adults including flight for $1700 canadian.

And a lot of people are joining me there too - 15 have confirmed so far and another 20 are deciding and will probally go.

I will be there. Looking forward to the show and the Poker Tournament but you guys really fucked up putting the show the exact same time as CES and AEE. You are going to lose alot of attendees because of the price to attend the show and for the room. It is rediculous. Hope you will pass that on to your boss and surely I'm not the first one to say so.

If it would be a normal date I would be there again. Untill this doesn't get changed in the coming years I won't be there anymore.

We are listening- your comments are being duly noted. Change is good sometimes- sometimes not. If they see that this was not a good decision I'm sure they will make changes for next year!

Not for, I have too many projects going to spare the time, plus the last one we came down for wasn't that good. I am really waiting to see if someone steps up with a better show in the coming years.

Hey Chris, good to meet you at the Sheraton last month, glad you're liking your new job ;)

It's a logistical nightmare to get anything accomplished in Vegas when CES is in town. The average wait on a cab has to be at least an hour minimum, more like 2 hours. Restaurant service is way less than the usual standards, same with bars and hotels, simply due to the number of people that are in town...
