when trying to get someone to link my tours advice is always good and should be encouraged and welcomed.

Listen, but also consider the source. Are they an expert in their field? Or unknown? It all matters, and nobody is really incapable of learning *something* new, so why not.
I've learned a ton from affiliates who ask ME for help ;) They shape the whole program.
