Help FireFox 1.5 issue! I took a sreenshot can you help me?
 
I just downloaded the new version of firefox and now thats its loaded up im got a big grey bar at the botton I circled it in red and Im missing a scrowl at the bottom. Thats the green mark. Can you please help me out?

do you have an RSS feed reader as an extension?

if so that is the problem.

it is defintely one of your extensions that is causing the issue.

make sure you update all of your extensions and then re-start FF. That "should" fix the issue.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! What if you uninstalled all extensions, and then the software, and then reinstalled FF?

i rebooted nothing, now I guess i start removing all extensions and starting again.

The new firefox doesnt support a lot of my old extentions.

try a clean install of firefox. Back up your profile and options, then do a clean install. If you get too many installs on top of each other, it goes batty.

you don't need to remove them...just update them.


Tools > Extensions > "Find Updates" button on lower right side.

ok I did that Brent, Im going to close out and try again. I must must admit in the top right corner there is a lil sun lookin icon that looks like its spinning. When its done spinning its done updating right?

depending on how many extenstions you have it might take a while.
