Hells Angels

Looks like this should get interesting..... one of the higher up leaders in court for killing a bunch of people in quebec and montreal....... Now some american biker gang, the bandidos are trying to move in...... Pretty fucking cool!

[Labret] 03-25-2002 04:39 PM

If I am not mistaken, either Sweden or Denmark have full blown biker wars. Where they blow up each others clubs with shoulder fired missiles kinda war.

Awesome stuff.

Paparazzi 03-25-2002 05:12 PM

It's been both in Sweden and Denmark. Right now it's pretty cool, but some time ago it was full war :ak47:

Here's some thing I heard happened in Finland ( Yeah - that small independent part of ex-USSR ! )

Some time ago a court room was "moved" in to a some kind of a bunker for secrity reasons - this happened in Finland. Cool Man!

Yes, they have fired missiles stolen from Swedish army also in Fin. Cool Man! :BangBang

And when police raided Band or Hels Fin HQ they rushed in with armoured vehicle... Cool Man! :ak47

Oh yes, that's nothing compared they are doing in the contral europe. Fuck!

I feel like a toy boy with my small private arsenal - always wanted to buy some rockets from Mr. Cummings :)

12-6-1969 in Altamont Speedway, Rolling Stones concert

Hells Angels killed a black guy that got close to Mick Jagger to give him some flowers while he was singing Sympathy for the devil song. The crowd thought it was part of the show and the band continued to play.

The exact words of Jagger when he finished singing and there was a real fight going on in the crowd. "I cannot see what's going on...i just know every time we get to a number something happens...." and continuous begging people to stop fighting.

Hell's Angels claimed the black guy was carrying a knife, which proved it wasn't true. Back then H.Angels were threatening all large rock bands to take them as "security" and it was impossible to say no. Of course this event was the end of their power.

I have the exact song in mp3, exciting stuff

Theo 03-25-2002 05:53 PM

ok,here is a recording of the event i just made. Some of you might like to hear it:part 1 and part 2

Soul_Rebel, excuse me but you are so misinformed as to what went on there, it is not even funny.

Suggest you go watch the documentary Gimme Shelter, you can watch for yourself.

For those that will not view the flick, here are just some of the errors in Soul_Rebels rendition of facts.

The HA did not allege that the black guy had a knife. He had a fucking gun. He was killed by a knife. So, you got black guy with gun vs HA with knife. Not a very smart fight for the black guy.

The HA with the knife was cleared of all charges because the film footage from the movie was evidence in the court. You have to remember, the HA were maybe 30 - 40 guys, with an audience of tens of tiousands, who had all been getting high all day, and fucking with some HA bikes.

The HA never forced anyone to hire them as security. In fact, Sonny Barger (original Pres, SF Chapter, which was 1st chapter) has stated that he would love to get alone with Mick Jagger to kick his ass. Jagger was the one that brought in the HA, and then he starts acting like a pussy, not backing his boys cause some fool with a gun decided to pick the wrong time to play thug.

The HA are really some great guys, unless you fuck with them. Then you are asking for trouble. If the Banditos are trying to take over for the HA in Canada, I can assure you they will not last one winter. I would look for a more likely takeover by the Pagans, or possibly the Outlaws. The Banditos are southwest USA, TX and NM, they are not going to like Canada at all. :1orglaugh

Pipecrew 03-25-2002 06:21 PM

you dont happen to be a biker do ya ? :

where I live, the HA kicked the outlaws ass and forced them to merge into 1

Theo 03-25-2002 06:30 PM

the ones in your age do know how hell's angels became the "officially" security of the rock bands in the 60s.
J. Airplane's concert, When Paul Kantner told in the audience what Hells Angels were doing in the back stages to the group members he got threaten. Good guys don't you think ? ;)

For the Altamont event so far all the readings I have done through time reffered that the black guy didn't carry a weapon, knife or gun. If I make a mistake on it wasn't on purpose. I think you lived these periods, so you know much better what in reality happened and how things altered through time. The black guy wasn't only the one that lost his life. Two other people killed while they were sleeping.

In one of the jagger's laters interviews he said that Hells Angels was a security they couldn't avoid at the end. He hired them and when they saw what meant to have them working for them, they couldn't avoid them.

I don't want people to get the impression that Hells Angels was something else than a bunch of punks threatening people.

Theo 03-25-2002 06:40 PM

i found an interesting article and i guess is valid although is written by an ex-Hells Angels member.
http://www.diablomag.com/archives/DM9912/sod.html
it says what you already said,he carried a gun and proved on court. I copy/paste the following from it to "excuse" my mistake.

"Most of the books and articles about Altamont are filled with bull"

It's one of the things you cant speak with certainty if you didnt live then. Let me assume that the claim: Hells Angels were responsible for an unecessary death, was an attempt to give them an end.

Pipecrew 03-25-2002 07:04 PM

Canadian Bikers could/can kick american bikers ass... The validity of my statement might not make sense since most bike gangs are international.... but even so, its a huge business in canada

baddog 03-25-2002 07:24 PM

Well, if you watch the movie, you will see where they show the actual conflict, and they slow down the tape so that you can see that the black guy has a gun.

http://www.salon.com/ent/col/srag/20...gimme_shelter/ has some fairly unbiased info on the events there, like the following:
"When disaster strikes and strikes again -- first with the Angels' leaded pool cues, later with the flaunting of a gun and the slice of that knife -- "

I do not know about the two people killed in their sleep, but there was no association between those deaths (if they in fact happened) and the HA.

If you watch the movie, you will see the one time where bringing a gun to a knife fight did not exactly work out the way one might think it would.

As far as how nice the HA are, I have met and partied with more than I can count, and never had a problem. However, I have seen them clear a room very quickly when one poor soul accidently bumped into one while dancing.

They tried being nice guys in the 1980s, and then some asshole from a chump club decided that he was tough and killed an Angel, so no more Mr Nice Guy when they were in large gatherings where reputations were involved.

I stand by my earlier comments though, they are great to have on your side, but they make rotten enemies.

Theo 03-25-2002 07:35 PM

thanks for the link. I found the dvd available on amazon. Definetely I'm going to see it. I have the Gimme Shelter version from the Itchy Fingers rare record.

I can upload it if you don't have it.

Pipecrew 03-25-2002 07:37 PM

I've heard bikers have Pen Guns.... they are really hard to get.... sometimes they use em at traffic stops! Why i mentioned this, i am not sure.... but its just sort of a cool subculture!

baddog 03-25-2002 07:38 PM

Soul_Rebel,

the guy interviewed in the article you provided was the owner of Altamont Motor Speedway, and I think in his old age some of his facts may be slightly skewed, but he got the gist of it right.

One should remember that this concert was originally scheduled to be held in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, and it was not until 2 or 3 days before the planned event that SFPD said they could not guarantee the safety of everyone there. So the permit was cancelled, and Altamont was the closest, big place that was available.

The HA provided security for more than just the Stones though, and yeah, there were some fights, but the HA do not fuck around. Imagine a half a million people, in festival style seating at a free concert. You think they all just stayed seated politely on the grass and grooved to the tunes? I am sorry, but LSD does not work that way. People wanting to fly with Mick and the boys, and having the HA as a buffer, is pretty much a recipe for trouble. But I have seen todays security, in their yellow windbreakers rough up a few people in their time. And you know the cops would have had less patience in 1969 than even the Angels.

Theo 03-25-2002 07:44 PM

yeah, that's for sure. I would like to fly with Mick too even without LSD :)

baddog 03-25-2002 07:54 PM

You mentioned Itchy Fingers, are you perhaps referring to Sticky Fingers? I have some of the stuff from that album on cassette tape (am I dating myself again?) but have yet to try and find it on MP3. Sure, if it is not too much trouble, I would not mind getting it from you.

If you use WinMx we can even meet up there and browse each others libraries for a while :Graucho

kmanrox 03-25-2002 07:58 PM

oh ya pipecrew? well what if i sick spacedog on ya? i hear he/she is pretty tough.... grrrrr

Theo 03-25-2002 08:28 PM

bad dog, is from a bootleg not that well know. They were only two releases i think,in spain and in germany. The cover was made by Andy Warhol, the genious scammer. It's pretty good, i just uploaded here

i hope soon i'll have something better than a pathetic dialup, so when some good tracks will be gathered on my h.d. i'll knock you to do a nice sharing ;)

baddog 03-25-2002 09:28 PM

Dial up? I thought you were out of prison :1orglaugh

I remember dial up, I just am not sure how it was that we got anything done back then is all.

Thanks, I got the song, sounds good. When you get back to the 21st century let me know, and for sure can swap some tunes.

Maybe we can get lensman to open a napsteresque forum here. that would be interesting
