Paysite owners, I have a question for you.
 

Years ago, I had a posting board where amateurs posted their own pics, but due to legal issues, obviously, I pretty much had to shut that down. SO, I have something I want to do where they can still do what they do, but with a different little edge to it. This is:

They love posting pics of porn on this board, and I want them to still be able to do this. And this is where you come in. Would it be acceptable to you if they still did this? This is what I have in mind, they can still post pics, but of YOUR sites, say pics from your hosted galleries or something to this effect. BUT they have to post the links where they found said pics...... no linking codes or anything, they are surfers. And I don't get paid for it, because I am not who is posting them, they are. I realize you don't want your pics stolen, I got that, but what if they post links WITH the pics? Would you see this as still being stolen, or as free sales because it is being posted by surfers without linking codes?

I should add, this is softcore only, no hardcore is or will be allowed.

And no, they won't be hotlinked, most upload them, so you aren't paying the BW either.

What I get out of it is something else entirely.

that domain would have to be included in the licence .. thats a problem

Asking surfers to post pictures within rules is... highly problematic at best.

Actually I haven't ever had any issues with my surfers posting in the rules. I had a couple of them try it and I used them as examples.. so very very few have attempted this since then. It isn't THEM following my rules I am worried about. LOL

It's free sales not coming in from an affiliate code, so I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be a huge issue, and it is monitored very closely. :)

I used to run a similar board... just amateurs who wanted to share their pictures with other amateurs. I shut down for other reasons that I don't care to mention. What legal issues did you have? Was it just an age verification problem?

Yeah, I did get some of the IDS, the ones that posted on my board were very cool about the issues we had to deal with, so there was no problem with it. They have always been very good to me. But with all of the new regulations, it was just too risky and I just didn't want to deal with it. So I have been looking very hard for an alternative method, since they have always been so loyal to me. :)

Why don't you just let them keep posting pics of themselves if they are just nude softcore pics?

If any sponsor has a problem with your members posting pics (hotlinked or not) from their FHGs with a link please let me know so I can avoid them as well. That is the type of nitpicky b/s I want nothing to do with.

they can post our pics as much as they want... they can go on the site and download any they want and post them .. all the pictures have a watermark and our domain is easy to remember.. have fun

oh, they can hotlink too if they want.. we don't care... the more the merrier.. and since all our pictures look like amateurs this is probably perfect for you :)

You can have them post any of the pics I have for my 3 sites in www.NicheMoney.com since I personally shoot all the content myself, but please.... no hotlinking, as I cut off hotlinkers as I find them.

As for the continuing to post the non hardcore pics, I still allow that, but the rules have just gotten a lot more stringent on this part of the deal. ;)

Watermarks will always be in place, I haven't ever seen them removing watermarks on pics or anything yet. They are just having fun. And free traffic/sales is free traffic/sales, right? :)

the watermarking idea sounds good to me.

I just want you all to know, I will be using this to OUR full advantage. I will be polling them about certain things, and this includes emailing members with links to paysites I find interesting or that I think they will find interesting. When I had it shut down, I had over 3500 members and I have just started putting it back up in the last couple of days and already have mad traffic coming back into it. Asmentioned, I want it for my own uses, but sending you all free traffic should be a plus to you, I would think. :)
