Early this morning we had a major hardware problem. Our guys are busting there balls working on it as we speak.
Here is what our Techs told me this morning:
Yesterday, we had some serious hardware problem where one of our storage array that was a mirror went down.
Althought nothing was lost, we need to replace that mirror and to do so we need to copy all content on pornaccess from another mirror. Since there's 1000's GB of data on PA, it could take forever to do that and performance would suffer a lot so that's why we have decided to speed up the process by limiting the access to pornaccess during the less busy period starting 2AM EST this morning.
So this is the situation, we are working hard to correct this problem and all our energy is focused on putting back pornaccess online as soon as possible.
Once all his back to normal, we will then come up with a plan to compensate webmasters for the lost.
