wtf epassporte

pretty fucked up that one is required to sign up for an account to find out what epassporte's fee's are. What are they hiding?

nofx 11-29-2005 08:02 AM

.25 transfer fee to send someone money

$35 to get an epassporte atm/debt card

just what I remember off the top of my head

that's fucking sneaky that they ask for my credit card info without telling me up front that it costs $35 for the atm card.

woj 11-29-2005 08:05 AM

$2 to withdraw funds to a bank account...

Ross 11-29-2005 08:07 AM

Anyone on epass post on this board? They're a tough bunch to get answers out of. I mail them and it takes minimum of 2 days for them to get back to me.

well you dont get charged for a debt/atm card upon signing up

its an option you have to activate after you join and then they will proceed to charge you $35 and then send you the epass card.

it really sucks but i'll admit that I caved in and bought a card.

Keyser Soze, my ATM card expires this month and I see that the annual fee was deducted from my account 3 weeks ago. I tried to use my card yesterday but the ATM rejected my PIN. Is the new card send out by mail on the same week the fee is deducted?

From what I was told when I got a replacement card, they charge the fee, send it to whomever for the card to be created (This can take 1+ weeks), then it's shipped back to them, then they ship it to you. I got my replacement card in a SPEEDY AND EFFICENT 5 weeks. :thumbsup

Jer 11-29-2005 04:48 PM

5 weeks sounds good

Thanks for your post, jact :)

The card is ordered when the fee is deducted but I'll inquire on the exact process :)

pornguy 11-29-2005 07:24 PM

We try to renew the cards at the beginning of the month in which they
expire, to make sure there is plenty of time for the cards to be sent to our over-seas customers.
Anytime an electron card is ordered or reissued, it is at most 1 week before they are sent out to the customer. It is important to note that unlike a traditional credit card, the new card is not valid until the old card expires.
