suggestions on new car? 50k price range--give or take

lookin for somethin i can drive all-seasons. not set on a certain make or model. i've had a supercharged bimmer 3 series, sl500 benz, and lexus rx300.. might like to go back to one of those big 3. what would YOU buy?

bringer 11-29-2005 12:01 AM

cadillac sts
btw, isnt the sl 500 around 100k?

i've got a loaded 2006 325i for 42k, although you could prolly max out a 330 for 50 since they start at 36. Or you can jump up to a core 5 series without a lot of the options.

I saw go with the BMW. you know you want to :thumbsup

rj2kix 11-29-2005 12:05 AM

had about 60k in the 3 series, 53k in the lexus, and the sl500 was 99k i believe

i usually like to tweak my rides, rims, body kits, engine work, tint, sound system etc.

i'm looking for something i'll own for a good amount of time, and it will be a daily driver. BMW is the ultimate driving machine. :)

it was alot of fun when the garage to my old house looked like THIS http://www.rj2worldwide.com/myhouse.JPG

buuuuuuuuut.. its just not as reasonable as what i'm looking for now.

the cadillac looks nice, never owned one. i do like the warm orange glow of the beamer interiors though :)

i say skip the new ride and get a bigger house, sounds like that wouldn't be much of a problem ;)

Are you the kid who crashed all the cars into the river?

rj2kix 11-29-2005 01:08 AM

didnt "crash" cars into the river.

i did drive my sl500 in the creek* (about 2-3inch deep) in front of my house like a boat :)
