Starting to work out, and actually seeing results...

I'm not posting pics. But I'm consuming protein like there's no tomorrow. 94 grams before bed, and I bought a ginormous bag of these really good nuts at Winco yesterday.

And I'm actually seeing some results. Kind of impressive actually. :)

tony286 11-28-2005 11:17 PM

congrats on the hard work paying off

wdsguy 11-28-2005 11:53 PM

u will see fast results at the beginning, then u hit a plataeu and getting over those is the harder part.

V_RocKs 11-29-2005 12:05 AM

It is not uncommen to see a high degree of results when you first start.

Eventually you will hit the to of the bell curve and gaining more muscle will require strict dieting and work outs or steroids... I did both back in my day. Stick to not using them... While you do gain a huge edge in performance (in many aspects of your life), you will also age extremely fast and have other problems down the road.

Also remember that your body can only process so much protein at one time. Also remember that it needs it throughout the day, not just at bed time. To much protien can lead to liver and kidney problems and will not benefit your growth (since your body can only process so much at a time).

Also keep that process time in mind when using any other suppliment. Creatine, simple vitamins... you can only process so much, the extra is either wasted or fucks up your organs...

congrats man!!! keep it up!

northboy 11-29-2005 12:07 AM

just take steroids, in 2 months you will be huge, then get off it for 6 months, then take it again and you will be a monster.

Steen2 11-29-2005 12:20 AM

Great to hear, keep it up for the long run!

1 gram of protein for every lb of body weight.

keep your carbs clean, and if you're going to eat them, make sure you burn them.

stay away from too much fatty food.

but im sure you've already heard all this shit so im preaching to the choir.

good luck.

I love working out. But I always go through phases.

I'll work out like a mad man, then get bored, take it easy for a month, they work out like a madman for 2 months... I can never seem to find that natural balance. :(

good post:thumbsup:... now i just gotta get myself motivated to get back into it... i am in the worst shape of my life... sad thing is, i used to be a personal trainer, and an amatuer mma fighter... now i get winded going to the refrigerator, lol.....

... anyone got any motivation for sale, lol.

calibra 11-29-2005 06:40 AM

Congrats, dude! :thumbsup

I've been working out for about a year using no pills. It's a hard work and you are gonna need hell of patience and persistence. And don't stop, don't give up. At some point you won't see any progress and it's fucking frustrating. Anyway, you've got a schedule, so keep up to it. I wish you good luck.

Dopy 11-29-2005 06:51 AM
