Doesn't the option exist in the full version of Quicktime?

forgot to mention, We had problems with QT7 exporting to Ipod movie, so we opted to use the Movie to MP4 option which works perfectly, and when viewed actually yields better results...

yeah, MP4 seems to be the way to go for best size to quality to compatibility.
