Actually check your facts, it was Russia that won World War II, America came in the end not to stop the war, but to prevent Russia from overtaking all of Europe and accomplishing what Hitler had failed to do.

Which is also why the Russians hung their flag when they took Berlin, not America.

April 16, 1945 - Soviet troops begin their final attack on Berlin; Americans enter Nuremberg.

April 21, 1945 - Soviets reach Berlin.

Besides Russia, Britain was doing air raids on Berlin.

I don?t know why I am wasting time responding to such nonsense but the Berlin Wall's only relation to WWII is the fact that, because East Germany and East Berlin were in the Soviet zone after the war, those areas fell under Soviet influence and therefore suffered under Communist totalitarianism. The Wall was put up to stop the influx of people trying to flee East Berlin to freedom in the West. The wall became a symbol of Soviet oppression which is why a piece of it stands in Riga today as a memorial to the 1/3 of the Latvian population that was destroyed in the Soviet gulag. Anyway next time you want to show off your history "knowledge" at least have some semblance of an idea what the fuck you are talking about please. Idiot. :321GFY

You should check the facts before posting mis-information.

1. The US provided the Soviets with war materials or the Soviets may not have survived to repel the German invasion.

2. The reason the US entered the European War was because Germany declared war on the US.

3. The US and the Soviets mutually agreed to allow the Soviets to take Berlin.

I dont know which history books you read that, but I remember that it started with Hungary opening the borders, a mass flee and massive east-german demonstrations against the government that lead to their fall. The new government was going to allow travel visas, but it all ended up in an misunderstanding and thousands of people wanted to cross the border. The guards could not (or would not) stop so many people by killing them, so they opened the borders. That was the end of the wall. :)

Yes, And with the funding the US provided to the Soviets, Stalin gave some to fund the CCP in China to keep Japan locked into mainland China so JP couldn't get to Russia.
