What does being an "established" webmaster mean to you ?

woj 11-28-2005 07:08 AM

Spider Ninja 11-28-2005 07:16 AM

MikeyFingaz 11-28-2005 07:16 AM

GFY doesn't mean a hill of beans with regards to being an "established webmaster".

I'd say an established webmaster is one who's owned/operated a website for a few years and has established his name in the particular community he/she caters to.

GFY is just the town hall everyone stops by to show off their fabulous pig and prized chickens.

jimthefiend 11-28-2005 07:27 AM

I think it has something to do with how many fansigns you have.

Not sure.

Dasha 11-28-2005 07:29 AM

theres no such thing as an established webmaster.

:helpme

Post count doesn't mean shit but it might help you sell your sig for $50. :winkwink:

Ross 11-28-2005 07:40 AM

Your Nick really sucks. Imagine people meeting you at convensions and telling their friends "Yo there's spider ninja" You're friends would be like "WTF"

Jarmusch 11-28-2005 07:43 AM

Post count only says if you're an established sigwhore, nothing more.

DutchTeenCash 11-28-2005 07:43 AM

yeah the ninja turtles nick has got to go...

jimthefiend 11-28-2005 07:45 AM

Change it to like "Clit Ninja" or "Ninja Twink" or if you wanna be REALLY pimp:

"n1nja r0xoR"

xxxice 11-28-2005 07:46 AM

22 to 38 posts

But there is a special tax for ninja since its retarded , you need to add 100k to 200k post on top of that :)

ajrocks 11-28-2005 08:26 AM

Post count or join date, both bull shit. If you have time to make 10000 post in here you aren't working hard enough to be a good webmaster

EroticySteve 11-28-2005 09:02 AM

I would say that you need at least 50 posts and have been arond for at least two weeks to be taken seriously. JMHO.

High Quality 11-28-2005 09:03 AM

You have to make at least 1 billion posts.

so very true silentknight.

theres alot of hype regarding GFY that simply isnt there. Many webmasters dont even visit this board and some big players who dont even care to post on any boards. There are also way too many non industry persons racking up high points on this board pretending to be players not realizing that being a webmaster doesnt mean how many points you have - but $$ in the bank.

If assholes could fly, this place would be an airport

Brad Mitchell 11-28-2005 09:10 AM

To be an 'established' webmaster you need to have sites that make money on the internet. Join date and post count don't matter. :-)

Brad
