Fuck I have 170 mails in my inbox
and I'm too lazy to setup a spam filter :(
|
Same, I get like 100-200 mails a day with complete spam, but I'm also afraid the spam filters will block my business e-mails. Cause I'd rather filter them out myself then.

Its funny to see which sponsor emails go directly to the spam folder. You know right away who the well known spamming sponsors are and which are not.
|
And a spamfilter on your computer will move the spam to a seperate folder. Just check it once a week or so.
But so far i dont think one "real" mail went to the spam folder. At least not with the spam filter im using. I have the odd spam mail slipping past it but that isnt as bad as the other way around. |
Do you wanna know the best spam filter I found?
http://www.spamihilator.com/ It's free and works great here. Honestly, give it a try.. it's quite small and will surprise you, I thought even better than MailWasher. It works with any email program 'cause it works like a proxy for your pop account. When you check your email only the real emails will go thru. You can later open the software and teach him what's spam and what's not, and if it filtered any real emails as spam accidentally you can just recover them with one button. It works. :) |
yeah i dont filter it either for the same reason, sucks
|
yeah sucks I had to close some emails that recived 2 much spam .. :(
|
only 170? consider yourself lucky!
|
170? That's just the morning batch :)
