Giants had 11 (eleven) false starts, and the 3 missed field goals, they were the better team by far by I guess they are just afraid to win.

BigCashCrew 11-28-2005 02:25 AM

i'm with you Krosh! I got to see them again from my place at the Harbor Steps. Go Go Go!

yeee haw

I know people are going to say we got lucky today...and maybe we did as we fell apart in the last 4 minutes/1st part of OT...

Nonetheless....good teams make plays...the kicker is part of what makes up a GOOD team.

Our offense choked at the end just like Feely choked....so it ended up just being one of those games that neither team seemed to want to win...and we ended up being fortunate to come up on top....which is the type of games that super bowl teams pull out.

You cant make an arguement to me that there is someone that is better than the hawks in the NFC....equally good, possibly...

Can't wait til we play the Colts. Its going to be the 12-2 Seahawks vs the 14-0 or 13-1 Colts....I'm not gonna say that we WILL beat them...but I'll be tuned in to see if we stack up

The Seahawks are definitely the sleeper/Cinderella team in the NFL, but I would like to see the Colts go undefeated and win the Superbowl.

Last I checked the kicker, crowd, and team maturity (penalities) were part of the game?

The Giants were losing nearly the entire game (neither team was playing very well).....Jeremy shockey's TD wasnt a TD...it was an incomplete pass...which would have forced a FG and thus this thing shouldnt have even gone to OT.

The Giants proved to be young, immature, sloppy, and not ready for playoff intensity. I'm not saying the Hawks proved a whole lot different. But the better team won today

1 at the end of regulation from 40, then 2 in OT

Beat me by 5 seconds Blue...hehe

BlueWire 11-28-2005 02:35 AM

One more thing...

Does everyone fail to notice that we're not some new playoff team on the block anymore....this will be THREE years in a row. Check the books, it actually doesnt happen as often as you'd think. The Hasselbeck/Alexander combo has been among the best in the biz and it will be for atlest another 3-5 years (assuming they bring back shawn :winkwink: )

This "tough guy" got his clocked cleaned a few times today...but nothing beat the moment when he thought the fieldgoal went in at the end of regulation. :thumbsup

it WAS pretty rediculous considering this was a kicker who was having a POTENTIAL pro-bowl year :1orglaugh

But I would have to give the hawks some credit because everytime that the Giants drove to around the 30, the hawks stuffed them there to keep the yardage as long as possible.

...also some credit to the 12th man, the fans :thumbsup That place was rockin' and rollin'
