SEO/Google > Will this work?
Looking for some honest advice.
Someone contacted me for a block sale of established blogs. A pack of 45. The seller said I could get the already linked blogs and change whatever I deem necessary after purchasing them. He insisted that this was ok with google and that if I change the blogs to porn it will go unnoticed by the original people linking to them. I saw a few -about 5- from the sampling and they dealt with law or academia.
I have heard about a lot of turmoil with the most recent google update and this strategy makes me afraid. I know nothing about search engines and I do not want my few sites to get hurt. He went on to say that some of his clients are doing great after the update and that all they did was to use the blogs as doorway pages or promotional pages where they were dropping links, discreetly. He then gave me a list of blogs that -according to him- seem to be doing what they were supposed to -take the target sites to the top- and asked me to go through the list and check the work and the links. I was a bit worried about his pressure-sales-tactic and made me suspicious that a future ban may be coming, to which he responded that I do not have to link the blogs to my pages but to the sponsors' ones (with my code) and that noone will get banned. He finally said something about "page rang can't be beaten" but I am not sure what he really meant.
Below is the list of blogs he asked me to review...
Could someone who is doing search engine work provide an objective recommendation? How safe is this? Do google reps read this forum?
(Endless list of links cut by TexasDreams as this seemed a bit Spammy.)
