Any cigar experts online?
To reduce my smoking habits a bit i should switch to an occasional cigar.
Whats a nice, light cigar for regular use? Any suggestions? Not too big and heavy ofcourse and cheap (as in not $50 per smoke) |
Personally, I like a nice Macanudo when I am in the mood for a stogie:

:1orglaugh Good luck reducing your smoking.
If it's a good cigar, you may find you'll enjoy it more & smoke them more often. |

Everyone is different, but it may help reduce smoking - cigarettes are damned dangerous (filled with utter shit!). Forget the name of the place - just outside Tampa - they make cigars of all types and ya can get em without all the crap they put into "mass marketed" cigars (and they don't cost much). I'm lucky where I am - can get 1000 cigars of just plain leave/seed for about 3 cents each rolled on a maidens thigh (or between a whore's ass cheeks of ya like! :winkwink: ) It's part of the benefits of Costa Rica. |

Say.. does the habit of inhaling die after getting used to smoking cigars? |
www.jrcigar.com great prices and reading on cigars im a 20 yr cigar man myself.

Exactly... I could not inhale cigars at the rate I smoke em. Some of that is probably just "habit" in having something to chew on while your working and less inclined to inhale. |

Hi fuzebox! :winkwink: I got a guy who makes em and will deliver whatever quantity you want. They used to cost about 2 cents each!! but he's getting greedy these days. :winkwink: I'll find out where he sells them - he's probably supplying a few stores. Also... you ever go to Nicaragua? There are factories there that make what is known as "Cuban cigars" - the branded stuff - and they cost a fraction of the prices sold in stores. It's worth loading up the car! :winkwink: |
i quit smoking over 7 months ago, but just recently started smoking "Black & Milds" cigars. nice for when playing cards, or long road trips (thats when i miss smoking the most). $3 bucks for a pack of 6 at the local grocery store. they smell AWESOME, they're not too thick and they last about 30 mins (depends on how often your puffing away).

my cigars r Panter Mignon's *
and a nice Monte Christo once in a while * made in Holland, dus goed verkrijgbaar Chris ;-) |
Patron anniversary editions. They're square in shape and you can beat them on the edge of a table and they don't break. They burn very smoothely. If you're not a smoker anymore you can light one of these up three times.

How light do you want? The lightest cigars I know of are slightly aged Baccaratts, Drew Estate Natural, Clean Robusto or Root, and the Griffens.
I have a friend who tried to quite smoking and just started chain smoking cigars instead. |
At least with cigars you aren't inhaling...
|
May I suggest the long round ones?

the SMashbucks people are real experts in Cigars :winkwink:

Joe and I smoke only aged Cuban cigars, we order from the same place we have been getting our cigars for many many years. It is good you are putting down those damn ciggs....no good. I never smoked ciggs, the smell made me sick. Hit me up on Icq I can give you some good start up Cuban suggestions to start light, and a few places to order, shipped right to your door in 2 days DHL. http://www.mikehawkmovies.com/pics/classics.jpg |
