Paysite owners - Best CMS?

What are the best content management systems out there for adult paysites?

Looking for one where users can rate episodes/scenes and pics.

MAS from Mansion :)

AdultWebWare does all of that and a great deal more. Prompt service, quick support, easy to learn, not expensive and well the inspiration for many inferior CMS knockoffs.

High Quality 11-26-2005 05:51 PM

Dont need one. :2 cents:

Dalai lama 11-26-2005 05:53 PM

I bought a copy of AdultWare. I sent them information on my server, where the content was located and everything that they asked. They were unable to install the script properly so it never worked.

No refund. No working product. Beware.

Man you are persistent. :)

You are telling this through all the boards. Wondering who is paying you.
I have asked you several times already. Let me know your order id and
you will be refunded at 111% as we do per our guarantee.

On the Greenguy's and Jim board we have had a conversation.
Let me check the link.

If there is our bad why not give us the payment id for the refund?
We refund ALL who is not satisfied in anything we do for any reason.

As per our satisfaction guarantee its 111% refund policy.

If there is an issue lets solve this but not just wind around.
I haven't received any contact from you.

Hey guys... really do check this one out. It has a great video demo that shows how the system works and what not :) Worth checking out anyhow!

adultwebware 11-28-2005 11:40 AM

SirMoby, if you would be in the mood to give your kind response,
you're more than welcome to reply here or contact me by any of
the means you can have by hand [which are listed below].

- email: support [at] adultwebware . com
- icq: 166487010
- mobile: +1.888.652.6939 (US/Canada Toll-free)

If there are anybody who were invited to the world of effectiveness
of the AdultWebware (AW) and are not satisfied with the product,
service, approach or anything else ARE WELCOME to request
full refund PLUS 11% fee to pay for the inconvenience of taking
your time on this. If we ask "do you need a refund" and you reply
"yes". We just need your ACH / Wire / ePassporte / PayPal account
to send your funds back.

You have probably no idea how serious we are on the product we do.
How serious we are on your Business we do automate.
On public that might seem the only 1 invite only page,
but it is unseen how many work is being implemented behind
that thin curtain.

Therefore, SirMoby, if you really think that AW have hurt you
in any mean, please just give this order ID or a name of
reseller who have given you the invitation code. Or a partner
whom you have purchased AW from for a while ago (you said few
years).

And lets get this deal closed once and forever instead of getting
these posts made on numeros boards. I don't think you are
getting a satisfactory out of these posts of yours, ain't you?

So, if you want it made publically, please give your order ID
and we would thankfully deliver you the 111% refund, or extra
installs of the AW, or extra service you may need for free.

I think that would be a better solution of a problem which (as
it seems to be) drives you crazy each time you see
the word of AdultWebware mentioned.

Thank you for reading until to this point.

We are in the process of implementing both CARMA (from NATS) and the new version of Site Depth...So far both have been impressive.

adultwebware 11-28-2005 11:57 PM

For the refund I must add a clause that we do that during the first 30 days.

But as I mentioned earlier, SirMoby, for you we can make an exception.
Why not. Let's get this solved.

Site depth www.sitedepth.com

I'm not an html kind of guy. I have very basic knowledge. I figured it out and got all my shit uploaded in no time. I don't promote stuff I don't believe in, so sitedepth for sure. The tech support is great and the client support is top notch.

I can't say really for all 'adult sites' as adult sites are generally ran solely by a marketing push which causes most CMS's to not offer all of what you need. However, a lot will get you 80% of the way there. I personally like ezpublish, as it allows for scalablility where most others don't.

http://ez.no/

Also take a look at the CMS matrix where you can do side by side comparisons of these systems. There is a list of a few hundered CMS systems there, and the side by side feature compairsons can help you rule some out or view some you never thought about.

http://www.cmsmatrix.org

As far as adult CMS systems, site depth seems to be a pretty good product. I know of quite a few people that use it. I've personally never evaluated it though.

http://www.sitedepth.com/

With a good CMS system though, if you are thinking of handling any amount of traffic. It is good to have the FrameWork (if the CMS was built on one at all) evaluated in order to see if it will scale. The problem is 99 times out of 100 a CMS system is put together by some no talent hack that has no concept of what scaling really is. I've seen many people run into this issue, what worked yesterday is costing me 1000's now to try to have it scaled. Generally paitents isn't a word uttered in the adult industry so, the temp fixes on these scaling issues, when a programer was given minimal time to do them cause for other problems sometimes larger problems. It all equates to lost revenue. Howerver, i know most will take the cheap way in the begining and bank on having enough money to fix it in the end. Just the fact is it would cost you less in the begining to really have a system looked at.

As far as good frameworks good there arn't many of them out there today, that are 'good'. But there are 1000's of them out there. Zend is currently working on a new Framework, which will be free, with a huge joint effort that is going on right now. From this Framework a very robust, scaleable CMS could be built.

:2 cents:

Well.

1. Let's go here: here - and compare the feature list with other cms mentioned above. Then don't forget to compare prices :)

2. Then let's go here: here - and compare existing clients list ...if you at all will find it in some other cms...

3. And at last, let's go here: here and get your Christmas gifts! :winkwink:

Trax 12-11-2005 02:42 AM

didn't recognize one known site in there
might be wrong :)
