Who Wants To Buy My XBOX 360 BUNDLE ???

I pre-ordered 3 bundles when they came out, I'm keeping one for me, got one for the kids for Christmas, now I'm selling the 3rd bundle on Ebay with a 1-day auction.

If you're looking to buy from a trusted GFY member, feel free to have a look :)

If you don't want some crazy price, I'll pay you today.

Sly 11-26-2005 02:45 PM

I misunderstood the post. I'll watch the auction.

Jer 11-26-2005 02:45 PM

It's at US $202.50 already ;)

Jer 11-26-2005 02:47 PM

Some people bid too fast. They should read the whole page first.
I know this is an legitimate auction, but it could not be.

Ok great :) I'm not sure how high it's gonna go, I hope that it'll jump up nicely, but cheap enough for you to jump on :)

It's hard to believe that it's already up to $264 in the last 12 minutes, I didn't think that it'd go up that quick. I did the smart thing with it and started it out at 1 cent, other people are stupid that start it out at $600, nobody is gonna bid, when mine hits $600, it'll already have a nice pile of people that have bidded on it and are watching it.

I can assure all of you that my auction is legit, I'd never screw anyone over.

Sly 11-26-2005 02:52 PM

One thing I'm wondering... there's several reports out now about problems with the X-Box 360. Say an auction winner gets one of these problem consoles, what do they do with it? This is just a question in general. Can they take it to Wal-Mart and exchange when another shipment comes in?

BAKO 11-26-2005 02:55 PM

Dude its already at like $500 and the highest bidder is a nobody, his a 0

nofx 11-26-2005 02:57 PM

Ahaha. I probably won't be bidding, I'll wait until I can get it at my local Best Buy. Could take a while, but oh well. I can't wait to see it on my 60" HDTV though.

Slick, I haven't seen you comment anywhere about the system yet. What do you think? Is it good or over-hyped? I'm figuring it will take another few years before games come out that can utilize its full potential.

As far as any problems goes, I'm sure it could be sent to Microsoft to be repaired, I bought it online through EBgames.com and I don't believe that they'd accept the returns. I'd be more than happy to help out with whatever I could.

EBgames probably wouldn't, but I think Wal-Mart would. They have an extremely "open" return policy. I've taken various products bought elsewhere back to Wal-Mart for exchanges.

I think that the system is AMAZING, Call Of Duty 2 looks like you're playing it on a top of the line gaming system, NBA 2k6 looks beautiful, I was a little disappointed with Madden because although it looked nice, they skimmed on a lot of the features. Need For Speed kicks ass to :) I have a few other games that I haven't even tried yet.

As far as impressions on the system, I definately think it lives up to the hype. The wireless controllers are great, the graphics are beautiful on my 40-inch Samsung LCD HDTV through the PC input, the online gaming is pretty good, I bought the wireless adaptor for mine and it's nice, I've had a little lag here and there with Call Of Duty, but nothing major. What I like is the marketplace where you can download game demos, then unlock them, it adds more cost to the system because you need credits to download some things, but it's nice to be able to have extra games to tinker around with. In time, I'm sure that's gonna be a huge part of the system's future.

I give the system 2 thumbs up :thumbsup :thumbsup

As far as any problems, I haven't had one freeze up or problem since I've got the system and I've already put in a few long gaming sessions on it :) It does get a little warm, but it's venhilated fine and works perfectly.

Yeah, that's true, I used to work at Wal-Mart 6 years ago, I even ran the electronics department for over 4 years. The policy was take anything back within 90 days with a receipt. It used to piss me off because we live in a 2 college town, so there were a couple of students that used to piss me off because one of them would buy a tv, then return it just before the 90 days, then he'd buy another one and return it before the 90 days, then when school was out and they went back home, they'd return it and get their money back, so they got free electronic rentals, they just needed to put down the deposit when they bought it :(

Jer 11-26-2005 04:22 PM

Bump for Slick (it's at $544)

Recently when my digital camera's shutter button messed up Walmart sent it back to Kodak for repair because I had it for over 30 days. Don't know if that's the policy now for all Walmarts or just some stores or certain items...

Actually I do believe that things are different over in the camera department because even though it's a camera department inside of Wal-Mart, just like jewlery and shoes, they're actually a separate branch, they have different district managers and everything, so perhaps they handle their returns differently.

I STILL DO THAT!!!!!! :thumbsup

Slick 11-27-2005 01:51 PM

Well, the auction is in the home stretch, $833.99 with 48 minutes to go.

sandman! 11-27-2005 01:57 PM

Yeah, that's true, I'm thinking that it should hit closer to $950 before it's done. With what I listed, I paid $636 for, so I already got about a $200 profit going :)

Slick 11-27-2005 02:50 PM

WOW, I was amazed, my system ended at $1100 and I already got the payment for it, so I'm pretty pumped here, that's a $470 profit which if I knock that off of what I paid for my other systems, it sounds pretty good. Maybe I'll sell the kids system to, he he he.

That is a great idea though, if I didn't have a system for my kids and sold that one, it'd be like I got my system for free, plus made a few bucks, that's great. When the PS3 comes out, I'll be sure to do that, the rest of you should to :)
