It's a Male African so he'll probably get to about 550lbs. He's playful now but as he gets bigger his wild side will start to come out.

sooooooooooooooooo cute. wish they could figure out a way of making them stay that size. pet lions would be everywhere.

He might be going to a wildcat ranch in the local area or to Busch Gardens here in Tampa.

However, I just heard that unfortunately they might have to put him to sleep. He was abused by his first owners (fucking scumbag assholes that make money off of pictures with him). Apparently you can only pose with a baby lion until they reach 25lbs (he's about 50lbs). Most carnies starve baby lions and do other shit to keep them under that weight as long as possible so they can keep having pictures with him and keep making money. :mad: :mad: :mad:

I just talked to my neighbor and she is in a not-so-good mood right now. I'll post later and give you all a full update. He is seriously ill and deficient of many needed vitamins. She tells me that his head should be a lot bigger than what it is now. The brain is growing but the skull isnt' therefore causing all sorts of fucked up problems.

I miss Steak & Shake! I grew up on it in Illinois :) Every time I go home S&S is on my list of places to eat. It's up there with In and Out in my book.

damn.. too bad Rob... my wife and I were planning on getting a large farm in 2 years and we could have taken the kitty and looked after it here. We love them and have vets nearby to help.. worst case I can set you up with the Toronto Zoo

That's really cool :) And the kind of thing you remember for life. I got to help some carnival people retrain a circus elephant for kiddie rides once, I'll never forget it.

How the fuck do people get to keep lions? These animals are not pets...
