I've noticed a couple places that are starting to offer direct deposit. Haven't looked into it to see if it works for Canadian/Foreign WMs etc., but that would be ideal as long as it didn't require large amounts like the wire transfers do.

No, I want checks. I think you would end up with a lot of European affiliates over North American. Not that there's anything wrong with European affiliates.
