Detecting AOL browsers and re-directing them?
Hey everyone,
I have a site that is coming up in AOL searches... I want to detect the AOL browser and send them somewhere else. I know the DMOZ cheaters used to do this all the time when DMOZ data used to come up in AOL search... does anyone know how to do this - I am assuming it can be done with javascript. Thanks |
I dunno if you can detect the browser (since it's just a modified version of MSIE), but you should be able to detect the AOL.com domain as a referrer using Javascript:

this will just hurt you in the long run

Last time I checked, the AOl browser worked better with graphics than netscape LOL, why do you want to redirect it?
I love my AOl surfers, at leasst I KNOW they have a fucking credit card, or theyre kids LOL |
I want to send my AOL surfers to a dirtier location...
the site shouldn't even be coming up in AOL so I am not hurting anything... |
