Do you ever get annoyed by your nick name?
 

I've been getting annoyed by my nick name. I'm not sure why. I used to sign emails "Sly", but I don't anymore.

That isn't quite what I mean though. Say for example you're out with a few industry people, everyone knows your name, but people still call you Ice. Do you find that weird or is it just me?

Oddly enough, it seems too "formal" to me.

I don't find it weird... they call me Rene, Ice, iceicebaby... it's all good :pimp

I really dont like when people call my Sly instead of Syl. Never sure if it's intentional or not. :upsidedow

Sometimes I fell like changing it.. but it's such a pain in the ass, everybody know me as Basic_man..

You can always switch it to Big Daddy Ryan. Or Mandingo. Whichever works for you.

Yeah I do, but many ppl know me by my nickname.

When I say Andre, they look hmm, then I say justsexxx on ICQ they are like ahhhhh.

However, I would like some non adult nick tho. Because I often forget that I wear my badge at shows...Then I goto a restaurant and,....well you know:)

I wanted to change my GFY nick a while ago...

I switch my nick to The Wolf on one of my 2 ICQ accounts. So some people see Pornwolf and others just The Wolf. Sometimes it's not cool to have a text conversation with Pornwolf open on the screen when you have Grandma over the house for the holidays. :1orglaugh

eh..i wouldnt have minded using just my real name...but i like Phoenix..it has been my nick for awhile...it is usually my screenname in video games as well

All my non-biz friend laugh at my "porn name" of Peaches :) We were headed for a trip to NYC and I told them we'd hook up with some friends for the biz and they all started coming up with thier own "porn names".

I have about 10 nicknames off my real name so you can pretty much call me anything and I'll respond.

I actually had a nickname before this one "muchmoreporn" was the first website I ever made and sold it many years ago, and I didnt like the nickname anymore. I had over 1000 posts wtih that name.

Mine annoys the hell out of me because people confuse me with BVF. No disrespect to pimp daddy Black Vagina Finder but we are like on opposite sides of the spectrum and people here are easily confused.

Like the other day I posted some fishing pics and someone said (forget who) they thought I was black. hahaha

I do like a little soul hole every now and then. lol

Yea, i wanna change mine to just Phogirl, i dont like the "69" part, it makes me appear "wild" "carefree" "fun-loving" and "uninhibited" all of which I'm none.

I'm actually really uptight and I don't want to be perceived the wrong way, I get offended and pissed of quite easily. I think my name makes people think I'm either a model or that I'm out to look for a date or something, I think people hit on me because they think I'm up for a good time because I have "69" attached to my name. Well I'm not! I don't wanna have a "good time"!

I have a boyfriend plus I don't even like 69! I just picked it at random because I have a friend who used to use phogirl007 in chatrooms a long time ago and I just copied her and put a different number as the suffix....
