Yes it will... It will be the toy during the next holiday season. Depending if they launch in October like the PS2 did or closer to xmas here in the USA.

I think that the PS3 will be much better, the games will be completely insane due to the Blu-ray technology.

That is, of course, if Sony is still around after their stupid ass CD software law suits... doh.

Blu-ray will provide more storage. But who cares if you've got a 200gig HDD plugged into you console :winkwink:

I saw something on Sony being sued by the state of Texas. They said something like 30,000 infected computers to the tune of a $100k fine per computer. Ouch.

Well, the thing is... you got to get the game on your HDD somehow, it doesn't just get there by magic, so a Blu-Ray disc will still allow for bigger and better games.

Yah, I read that too... and that's just Texas... once that suit is done, it will open the doors for tons more. I would love to know what they did with the guy who gave the the bright idea to put that shit on there. Wonder if they are losing more money from Piracy or from their stupid attempt to stop it.
