PayPal...the perfect scam...

So, when they "investigate" someone else's shady account and dealings...they withhold any money's that the person has sent to me? lmao...how much interest every month you think that $4,000,000 of other people's "withheld" money acrues in the bank? Fucking scamming cockholsters.

Ya ya ya...don't use paypal...I know I know. I signed the license agreement too...

Shame on me... :(

Yep, that license agreement is their license to steal carte blanche.

In an ethical business world (yeah, I know)...Paypal should sent you any remaining balance and simply close out the account. But they've crunched the numbers and know the profit they'll realize by putting in to the agreement the fact they can seize all accrued balance if they determine you've somehow breached their TOS.

They're easily in the Top 5 big-time crooks in the racket these days.

Well...it just seems fucked up to me that they can seize EVERYONE's money that came from the account in question. I mean, seizing the main account...I can see that. SUEING the main account holder if the investigation finds fault...sure. Seems ethical to me. Holding EVERYONE's money while they investigate one guy? Biggest scam I ever seen in my entire life. It's right up there with the state lottery "yearly payout" scam.

JoeMeca 11-23-2005 12:37 PM

yea its a rip

gfx3 11-23-2005 12:37 PM

Yes they suck, hate to use them but they are so damn easy, sending money in 1 sec all around the world. But hell as a company they blow.
I avoid using them and stopped buying things on ebay. I rather go to a store and pay a bit more. :disgust It's very easy to get scammed or scam other people with paypal. No safety at all.

Luc 11-23-2005 12:42 PM

why do you guys keep a lot of money in the paypal account?

as soon as my shit breaks a few hundred i deposit to an account that only holds paypal shit which from there every few weeks i deposit to a real account.

those fucks arent taking a penny from me. their processing fees are already raping me.

Babagirls 11-23-2005 12:45 PM

i never leave money in my paypal account for more than an hour (of knowing of a deposit). i dont trust them.

Same - I seldom keep more than a couple hundred floating in the account.

A while back they put a freeze on my account when they got wind of a very old adult webpage I'd forgotten about...that had a Paypal reference. Although I deleted the page right away after they notified us, it still took 48 hrs. to get the account reactivated.

No great loss other than time involved. But it was a senseless chore.

NickPapageorgio 11-23-2005 12:52 PM

Oh and the problem is this lol. I DON'T leave money in PayPal. I take it out the day it's put in there for this very reason. But now, my account is $300 in the hole because they seized someone else's shit. lmao...so I can't even use the account now unless I want to take a $300 hit on any money sent my way. Fucking bastards...

I am sure pretty soon they'll be sending me emails about how my account is in the negative too lol. I am preparing a "lick my sack" response letter now.

Bank wires or checks from now on only...

Triple 6 11-23-2005 01:38 PM
