Anyone got their computer hookedup to their TV with an S-Video?

When I plug in the s-video cable to my computer and restart my computer, I lose one of my two monitors and can't see jack shit on my TV! :(

Anyone has both dual monitors and their TV working?

I think that you can only use the 5 pin or the s-video. I am not positive on that though.

I do it with mine all the time

I have a function key on my keyboard though, I can rotate between all the settings, one of the including all the monitors at once

I might be wrong, but I think you can only have two displays going at once, at least with ATI cards.

So you can have one monitor plus your TV, or two monitors. Not two monitors plus your TV.

I am able to use my TV and one monitor on my card at the same time, but I don't have dual monitors.

ah, yeah, it if it an ATI card you can only have two displays at once

CybermedAndy 11-23-2005 12:11 PM

I do, I have to adjust something in my display settings(on my pc) for the TV to work

Actually I checked google and it appears some ATI cards will do 3 at once too. Depends on the model I guess.

I just bought a "PC remote control" to try out couch surfing. (Not set up yet) Anyone else watch web videos via TV?

DutchTeenCash 11-23-2005 12:27 PM

Fuck it. I'm buying a notebook and hook my tv to it instead.
