What do you think of programs that redirect surfers on IP to different tours?
Doesn't the surfers have the right to visit the paysite tour he wants without being redirected to another tour?
|
the right?
is there some sort of laws here? if I own the site, i choose to do what I want with it....there are no rights or wrongs, only my way |
If the site / program owner is redirecting say Japanese surfers to a Japanese version of the tour, fine, or German to german, etc etc etc..
The program owner has to do what is hopefully going to provide the best results and give him the best ROI he can get.. Surfers have no "rights" when it comes to what tour they see, their "rights" only begin after they give me their credit card number... |
The surfers that get redirected are behind an ip of a country where they credit cards will get declined. That's why some sponsors send them to a different tour where they can pay with a dialer or by phone.

if it is done good I have no problem with it, unfortunatelly lots of sponsors seem to use babelfish to translate their tours *2cents

Yes, I think it's a great way to optimize conversions depending on what country the surfer is from. It helps webmasters make more money.

There's nothing like a website translated by a native of the desired lenguage. I've translated some sponsor sites to spanish. :winkwink: |
There's nothing worse than a bad translation. It's insulting.
