Pros and Cons of using DW Layers?
 

I have always used Tables or CSS to create structure on my sites but went to a DW seminar yesterday and the guy went over DW Layers. He didn't go into great detail but he explained the trace image concept and layers seem to give the developer much more freedom.

However, there has to be a catch. Nothing can be that easy without snags. Are there browser compatability issues? Has anyone here ever used layers on their sites and if so, what was the general outcome?

If people aren't using the "right" resolution while viewing your designs/sites it will look like shit would be the main reason.
