Very nice. Having a place to get away to and doing some work without all the distractions will be good.

The company is out in Vegas so i travel alot

BlackCrayon 11-22-2005 11:25 PM

having an office would be nice, as long as its close enough to walk there (i hate commuting to work) but it seems more than anything, another expense that isn't really needed if you're a one man show.

detoxed 11-22-2005 11:25 PM

I'm thinking of buying a second home to use only for work.

I feel that its nice to keep work and home seperate (unless you have a huge house)

Corona 11-23-2005 12:56 AM

This thread is useless without pics.

I would rather see someones office and desk setup than boobs. Does that make me gay?

Hmm... I wonder if you could use it like an investment property, claiming interest and landlord expenses as deductions... and also the rent you pay yourself. :1orglaugh

Would you furnish it as a full on pad or just use the one room mainly?

rowan 11-23-2005 01:07 AM

Seriously, thinking more about this - I wonder if a company could legally rent a house/apt from an individual who happens to be the sole worker/director in that company. That would be pretty cool.

You would probably need to have 2 different companies. Which people do. An accountant would be able to set it all up properly.
