Dre - Really appreciate that. It was never intended and I think we have proven that over the past 3,5 years.

So what about that VERY BIG sponsor was forced to stop using your software. Nobody noticed anything and you let the thread die, not answering anybody.
Want me to bump it a couple of times or are you gonna tell us here in this thread that it was fake drama.

born 11-23-2005 11:53 AM

Congrats Oystein! You run a great software suite of products!

Did the code just appear? What do you mean it was never intended? Never intended to be discovered by the wm's you assisted in fucking over?

seeric 11-23-2005 12:24 PM

congrats buddy, and thank you for the passes to the lucky strike. we appreciated it alot.

FUCK J0EL 11-23-2005 12:35 PM

Dirty F 11-23-2005 12:52 PM

Ah he dissapeared again...ofcourse.

davidd 11-23-2005 12:54 PM

I have a word you might want to add to your vocabulary.

in·teg·ri·ty Pronunciation Key (n-tgr-t) n.

1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness.
3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.

When you apply the above word to your daily actions, you do not have to waste time cleaning up past errors in judgement. I do not care if MPA was the tightest code, handed down from Jesus Christ himself. You are a shit bag, who assisted many programs in the out right thievery from people in this industry. You made a judgement call based upon short term gains, sacrificing your "integrity", like a prom queen turned crack whore sucks dick for rock.

Hope it was worth it.

Congrats on your 'award', the real winner is NATS. You gave them an opportunity with your lack of "integrity" to come to market. Each day they grow bigger, and other programs, we can all look and say Oystein, "Was it worth it?"

Poppy 11-23-2005 01:16 PM

Woohoo Oy! It was a pleasure handing you that award my big Norwegian lover...lol

OY 11-23-2005 01:23 PM

Franck -
The program did thousands of joins a month (after being up on the MPA3 platform less than two months) but not with a lot of affiliates. The few affiliates they had in their system looked to us like they were inhouse accounts - so in essence they were ramping up and testing that everything worked the way they wanted it to work. Do you really think we would put our company name, the MPA3 name and our program owners in the line of fire if we werent serious about this? No fake drama - real as it can be and for the better to all of us.

Imagine IF their server was hacked by someone and that "someone" saw what they had done to the code and seeing it was a MPA3 platform - who do you think would have gotten the blaim? MPA3. So, we did what was necessary and terminated them legally according to the contract. We dont fuck around with guys like this and at the end of the day we protected 1. Affiliates 2. MPA3 program owners 3. MP

We have been around since 96/97 and intend to stick around for many many more years to come Frank.

And did I mention that we are the only ones that have ACTED on something like this rather than just talking about it?

born, Dalai lama and Corleone - Thanks! :thumbsup

davidd - Stop living in the past. And hey, are you talking on behalf of Jason @ Flashcash? Tell him I said hi if so.

A1R3K - Any time bro. It was loads of fun!

J0EL - Shiiiit. OK OK. Next time! :1orglaugh

POPPY - That was UNREAL! xoxoxoxo

So they were shaving their own accounts? Ah ok.

Like I said;

" - so in essence they were ramping up and testing that everything worked the way they wanted it to work"

This was a serious violation Frank - and we stopped it short.

Jake 11-23-2005 02:00 PM

Damn, seems difficult to get any love around here even when you win one of the industry's most prestiguous awards the haters still seem to come crawling out of the woodwork!

Congratulations to Oystein and the entire crew at Mansion for putting together a rock solid product that allows us all (sponsor programs and webmasters) to generate greater revenue per click than would be possible without such a product.

The program we closed was real, the code they had added to their server WHERE able to mess with the stats! Our programmers saw this "extra code" added when they where in their server to do support, so we decided to actually do something about it and we close them down right away. We never said they already used the extra code, but this was something they had added to their server, so obviously they planned on using it.

Now the only other thing we can do here is to give you our lawyers phone number so you can call him your self to check if we are talking the truth or not. But I guess people like you dont trust lawyers ?

And to our friend Davidd, It must be good to be the only one on the planet who have never done something wrong in his life?

Yes you are very correct about NATS and its timing. It was perfect, AND they used it for everything it was worth. But I think most people now are more concerned about witch are the better product, MPA3 or NATS. And this is exactly how it should be! It will always be for the better for the webmasters if there are a couple of competitors. This will only make us the program makers work even harder to make the best possible program for both the webmasters and program owners. And you and only you will benefit on that !

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-23-2005 02:12 PM

I can imagine the damage that could have happened.

If this guy ran it and they were caught shaving or somthing, "Bang" guess who gets blamed.?

Oyestien and Co.

So they Did the right thing IMHO.

The Usual Suspect 11-23-2005 03:13 PM

Congrats on the award!

We have nothing but good experience with programs using MPA3,
and no doubt that NATS coming into the marked have forced them both to improve their product.

I'm sure both are here to stay for a long time.

JoeS 11-23-2005 03:31 PM

MPA3 is the best affiliate solution I've seen and the support is equally as good.

Hit me up on ICQ or email and I will make sure your doubts are taken fully care of :)

Ellisa - Lets talk tomorrow. You heard what you heard and hey - Interesting ey? :winkwink:

Fetish - Thank you - we think we make a difference, one company at the time :thumbsup

Nathan 11-24-2005 01:16 AM

Congratz to MPA3. Would not want to share the XBiz award with anyone else.

For all the ones that are wondering if they should use MPA3 or NATS, all I can say is, talk to both of us and see what each program has to offer, then deceide after you have seen both in a demo.

OY 11-24-2005 12:07 PM

Nathan, thank you very much. And you are right - both programs have their pros and cons depending on what you are looking for in it, and one might fit one but not the other.

MEGAN - You have rocked my socks for a long time! :winkwink: :thumbsup

KingK7 11-24-2005 12:16 PM

Congrats Øystein & Garry :)
