What's your favorite way to gobble the gobbler on Thanksgiving? I've heard raves about deep fried, but I've never had it.

Ya know - as many times as Ive talked to you I never picked up on that - and I live in the deeeeeep south LOL

I inject and deep fry mine

i am going away for thanksgiving but after i get back i plan to pick up a turkey at the store and try to make a beerbutt turkey similar to our normal beercan/beerbutt chicken)

lots of fresh herbs and olive oil under the skin, ought to be interesting if it works

but as a southerner, gotta agree, fried turkey is the best

we make 2 turkeys...one deep fried, one in the oven. (the deep fried one is soooooooooo good!)

I glaze mine.

Seals the juices inside. :)

Deep fried is awesome, but no one ever wants to cook it that way for me.
