For what are you thankful this year?

As much hell and depression as I've been through this year, I could easily look back and bitterly say "What the hell do I have to be thankful for?"

I've lost two good friends, four cats, (one of them died, the rest went to good homes), my husband, and my entire way of life. Lost my house, a car, watched another family member's marriage dissolve, and a bunch of other little shit accumulating to make me miserable.

But with all of that, I have to honestly say I'm not bitter. Still hurting, still kinda numb, but not bitter.

I have a lot for which to be thankful. I have my health, which this year has been better than the past four years, I still have one cat whom I adore, I have my little p.o.s. truck, and I still have my sense of humor.

I have friends to whom I am close, I have learned lessons that otherwise I don't think I would have bothered to learn, I have seen much of the country by driving it twice over, I have the experiences to last me a lifetime in memories and little moments.

I've lost a lot. I've given up a lot. But I'm still alive. I'm still me, but I'm still learning.

For everything I have, for everything I love, for everyone who has stayed by me through all of the hell that has been 2005, and for everything I've learned along the way, I am truly thankful.

I'm thankful for Napolean, the love of my life, being here with me and having him in my life.

My mother and kitties.

My income and last but not least, my mind :)

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for my great new life... my fiance, our baby, new car, new house... a whole new beginning to the best part of my life.
It's even better than I ever thought it could be.

Mostly, I'm thankful for this little guy:

I am thankful for my wife and our new little baby as well.

We wish all of those that have less, to find a way to have more.

I havent been able to walk for the past 8 years

6 years in a wheel chair and 2 on crutches.

dispite being told to get used to being crippled I still managed to walk again

even though its painfull and difficult sometimes I havent used anything to assist my walking in just a little over a month now.

I am thankfull everday when i stand out of bed, carry groceries, and walk into a friends house with no crutches....

So I'm thankfull for the ability to walk again.

I am happy that I am happy....Of course things could always be better, but also much much worse.

My health is good, I have nice friends, love my family, and make enough money to do the stuff I like.

This year I am grateful that it wasnt worse than last year. In fact I MIGHT even go as far as saying this year was better. The prior 4 years were getting fucking absurdly worse each year with last year being almost gods joke on fucking Harry. (in fact 2004, I entitled the year "Fuck harry")

Anyway, I am very optimistic that things might be moving up and forward. And I was very happy to meet alot of you GFY regulars (Ramos, Kourosh, Ace, Moe and Jon, Alan and Lisa, Zack and Jerry, Magnus, greg, Oystein, James) at the webmaster access show last week.

If I dont see you guys in Vegas this January, I hope I see ya sooner than a year from now.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone
