Mmmmmmm one of the best days of the year! The Parade, Football, Stuffing your face all day, and napping. Anyone with me here? Yumm Turkey and mashed potatoes. My favorite is the candied yams. :thumbsup

This year we are making the whole damn dinner, but usually we cheat and eat at a restraunt that way there is lots of great food, and you dont cook or clean the mess. :)

Hmm. The women in your family seem to be depriving the men of the best part of Thanksgiving. Eating a fantastic dinner that the women made, then drinking beer, watching the game and having a nap while the women do the dishes.

I've always assumed it's Thanksgiving day because the women are thankful the men put up with their nagging all year, and that ONE day, they're giving something back to the men.

I dunno.

I need to go pick up the rest of my supplies tonight. Sweet potatos, vegetable stock (to brine the turkey in for a few hours) and stuff like that.. Oh and pies.. gotta have pies :D
