I lost my wallet Sunday night, with ALL of my money in it, plus the usual shit like my drivers license, SS card, etc.

Anyways, today I went to pawn my xbox to one of those gaming places. I need to do this to get money to make it til next payday. They wouldn't take it because the cd door wouldn't open...

now I never had this problem before. I guess something must have happend in the back seat to the trip to the store? xbox didn't fall or anything.

Now if I put a paperclip in the hole, the cd tray ejects. Now I can turn it back on and hit the button, and it will go in. Once it's inside all the way though, it won't open again. Like it's jammed or something.

Now if I hit the open button when it's in the middle of closing, it will open again. Anyone have this happen before? how can I fix this so I can go pawn this bitch and get some money to hold myself over til payday.

So now I'm stuck with a xbox and no games (they took the games) and I can't get rid of it because the fucking door won't open. any advice is appreciated.

Hell, any WMs wanna buy a repairable xbox? lol.

BTW I do not recommend taking your xbox stuff to any of those gaming places like babbages, cdwarehouse, the xchange... unless absolutely necessary.

I only got 50 bucks for 15 games :\

Gamestop is only giving $75 per X-Box. That was a month ago. Now its probaly even less. So if you're going to repair it you mind as well hold on to it.

Does the 360 play the older xbox games?

Did you read the thread? I lost all my money when I lost my wallet. If I had the cash to take it to a repar shop, why would I be trying to pawn it for money?

And if I am trying to make it to next pay day, doesn't it make sense I have "normal job" ? I do adult on the side and for me, with aac, it is EASIEST for me to make money. If your such a fucking pro it should be a walk in the park for you then. So lets not go blasting them for something an affiliate posts on a board not even relating to them.

Currently living paycheck to paycheck (obviously). I had all my money in my wallet from cashing my check a couple days before hand. I had a couple bills to pay and had to get a money order, so I didn't take any out and leave it home. From now on though, you better believe I won't be carrying it all anymore.

So I found my wallet, kind of.

The post office called today... someone had tossed it into a mailbox. Of course all of my money is still gone. If the person who tossed it in the mailbox didn't take it, I'm sure the mailman probably did. Atleast I get some important cards back like my SS, etc.
