Who are the miserable spamming scumbags from Gothic Match who are stealing my photos?
 

Okay, somebody here has to know. Who are the miserable spamming scumbags from Gothic Match who are stealing my photos?

It is bad enough that they spam every email they can find, regardless of whether it is a webmaster email or not, trying to get themselves linked up. They are especially aggressive with webmaster emails. I have received around a hundred spams from them promoting their program, with little regard to whether it would be appropriate for the site they are emailing.

But I am really sick of them stealing my photography. They are actually now spamming with a banner with one of my photos in it. I would really hate for anyone to think I was in any way involved with these scumbags.

So I want to make it clear that Blue Blood and SpookyCash have absolutely zero to do with Gothic Match or Sports Match. And I'm hoping some of you all can help me figure out details of who they are and who their hosting providers are etc.

Why not threaten their webhost? They appear to have hundreds of dating site domains with stolen pictures and fake profiles. I seriously doubt you are going to get a reaction from the persons involved.

I'm actually have trouble figuring out from their double-blind whois who their webhost actually is. Any assistance there would be most welcome.

The name is registered with GoDaddy who has some pretty strict aggressive anti-spam policies. Report each incident to them.

Their Nameservers are with Rackspace.
The IP address is with Abacus America Inc in San Diego, or ABAC.com which points to Aplus.net

I just got webmaster spam to link up Age Match now too. Which is exactly what it sounds like: where intergenerational daters are most welcome. Sigh. I wonder whose photos they are using for that.

They spam from an endless army of Yahoo accounts, but I'm guessing, at a certain point, it gets hard to claim an out-of-control affiliate for the zillionth time.

I hate it when I hear someone is stealing others property. why don't they create their own work and mind their own business.

Send a cease and desist and get in touch with your Lawyer, Amelia. A hefty fine in copyright infringement will smarten their asses up.

Wow, their "rep" actually refused to give me ownership or legal contact info to DMCA.

Gothicmatch..... great, I'll add them to my blacklist. Hopefully a few dozen (or a few hundred) other webmasters see it in the future and also avoid them.

I hate thieving assholes.

If anyone else here keeps a blacklist I urge you to add gothicmatch to it, if only to warn others about this kind of thievery.

Hey, but what do you expect when you are responsible for having defined a content archetype -- it's absurd they would think it possible to not be found out - it shows how little appreciation they actually have for what they have stolen -- they don't see a 4,000 carat ruby sitting on the dashboard when the cops pull them over -- lol -- nice to see you guys in LA -- I have definite plans to do that stuff with your stuff -- :)
