Just moved to Boston and looking catch up with other web masters in Boston. I live right near MAS general.

I have been in the adult business for all most 5 years primarily as a software vendor (Founded and currently CTO for www.objectcube.com). I'd be interested. I am a boston native. Born & raised there til I moved all over the place. I am in connecticut now. I frequently travel to Salem, lived there for several years, lot's of cool places there to have a gathering.

Nice. I took some classes at Salem State, actually.

A get together would be cool.

I just moved from boston to san diego - but im back in boston about once a month, going to be there this weekend actually. i grew up there, its a great place.

I lived over on huntinton by longwood, great place to go to college.... theres more girls college girls in boston than in any other city (im pretty sure of this)

Back in the day, JJ Foleys was a great Irish pub to get smashed at, it's near south station, but it's too small for a gathering if there's alot of people. Shit, I don't even know if it's still there. Haven't been there since I left Umass in 97. Haven't even drank alchohol since 2002.

nice little strip club. but then again, who wants to pay $10 a beer. Forget that idea, been there dozens of times, not really that great of a place for a gathering because the second your drink is empty, they make you order another one or you have to leave. :1orglaugh

It has been a while huh....the golden banana is closed......but there are always other places to go.

JJ Foleys is still there on East Berkeley Street right next to the Boston Herald. They have added a 2nd floor and are going to open a restaraunt. You probably wouldn't even recognize the street anymore -- lots of $$ condos etc.

I was up by the Golden Banana on the way to Maine in July and it's closed. There are rumblings they want to reopen it.

I know there are several other adult webmasters down here on the South Coast, several others up in Providence, and lots on the South Shore.

Ok lets brainstorm.

Lets throw out some ideas for places.

We could do Hooters, F1 Boston, etc. etc.

If we can come up with a place first that would be cool and then we can all figure out a date that works well for the group.

In fact, I will put something together, post details and if there are enough rsvp's, announce a date in mid March with driving directions. It will be on a Sunday or Monday when the club is closed to general business so we can have run of the place. There are plenty of strip clubs in the area to hit afterwards or private dancers can be imported.

Suggestions for the get together will be appreciated.
Currently I plan on dinner followed by happy hour. My fav restaurants in Boston are China Pearl in chinatown and Union Oyster House in the north end. I rarely drink so no clue what bars to go to, but something close to those restaurants would be great.

If this works out I plan on broadcasting a get-together once every few months.

I love China pearl. We are going to get along well I can see :)
